My college roommate my freshman year was on the football team and he wore bikinis and string bikinis exclusively. Including under his uniform...not so much a problem with the black uniform pants but the white ones were notable. He did that all 4 years, though -- I'm not sure if he knew or if anyone told him or not but it was pretty obvious when he was wearing bright red bikinis (plus he was African-American as well) or some other similar ones!

I just read your blog post about the benefits of wearing string bikini underwear for men during sports, and I have to say, I couldn't agree more! As someone who has been wearing this style of underwear for a while now, I can attest to the comfort and freedom of movement that it provides. And as for visible panty lines? Who cares!

In fact, I recently had a fun experience at a store where I was trying on some new shorts. As I was changing, a few other men in the store caught a glimpse of my Vossle string bikini briefs, and I have to admit, it was a bit nerve-wracking at first. But as we struck up a conversation about underwear and comfort, I realized that I wasn't alone in my preference for this style.

It was actually quite liberating to openly discuss underwear with other men, and to see that there is a growing acceptance of men wearing more revealing styles. So thank you for advocating for this, and for encouraging others to embrace their own preferences, even if it means showing a bit of underwear line. Keep up the great work!

This would have been in the early 90s.
