Sofia_beach welcome to the forum, I've read many of your posts and glad to see a woman sharing their experiences. Buying a thong for the first time, male or female can be nerve wracking and embarrassing - I'm glad the sales lady at VS was easy to work with. Without knowing much about you, how would you feel if your male partner wanted to wear thong underwear or swimwear?

I would encourage it. I think it's extremely sexy when men have the confidence to wear something like that especially because a lot of people think it's weird or whatever. My friends and I saw a couple of older men in thongs at the beach the other day and they kinda laughed at them. I didn't think anything was wrong with it. On the contrary, I admired their confidence and actually really liked how they looked in them. We were also in thongs so I thought it would have been hypocritical to laugh at them. I know how comfortable yet exhilarating it is to wear something so tiny in public.

When I research underwear reviews, I think there are a lot more men out there that wear thongs/g-strings for their female partners than most commoners might realize. With more brands available on the Internet--and Amazon, they might be more popular than ever!

I also had a female friend that was not at all a fan of even women wearing thongs. Then surprise surprise she switched my laundry one day!

Thankfully, I think more women and men are wearing thongs outside. There was even a NYTimes article about it.

I think it's great that thong bikinis are becoming more common and accepted especially in the US. I remember when I started wearing them at the beach in my early teens I was one of the only ones, but now they're quite common. My friends use to think I was crazy for showing so much skin but soon enough they started copying me lol
