I like the sensation of strings around my body and the skin in direct contact with pants.
I also love the sensation of freedom from fresh air and sun on buns. It's intriguing and sexy. I like swimming in it or removi under water for swimming in the nude.
And yes I also like having bottom exposed and people watching. I found it turning on, even if almost all don't care.
I like walking around beach and natural areas behind beach in thong, I'm different and brave.

For the swimwear, I do it because I spend time in the gym and I like to show off my hard work.
For the underwear, it’s partly for comfort. I like how the strap feels. And partly I just like how I look in them.

Why wear thong underwear?
I like the look for me and it's unique. I wear mostly seamless flat pouch bikini thongs and g-strings. It's very flattering even for someone like me who is chubby with a really small package size. I used to only wear bikini briefs up until young adulthood but that flattened me even more. I cant even reach an inch flaccid so when I wear thongs or g-strings even a tiny bulge gives me a bit of comfort in seeing myself. If you've ever been to Singapore, the humidity can be brutal so wearing thongs is so much better than wearing briefs or boxers.

Swimwear?
Honestly, as an avid swimmer since my youth, I dont think I like swimming around in a thong. Something about the thong straps and breast stroke doesnt sit well with me, currently at least. I still want to get used to it since I did go to a private pool with the few who know I wear thongs and I really liked how I looked that day. I still wear 1-inch side swim briefs like I have since I was just in elementary, its what we wore as "underwear" underneath our waterpolo trunks. I like Speedo and Arena, and to be honest this is very socially acceptable in Singapore to wear briefs to the pool.

I wear thong underwear because they make me feel sexy and confident. Seeing myself in the mirror with such minimal coverage and the accentuation of my manhood never gets old. I still feel excitement each time I slip into one. I love going to work with it in under my clothes and having it be my special secret nobody else knows about. It’s fun! Plus I love the comfort and support they provide. They hold everything so snugly and not having material rubbing between my legs is very comfortable.

I have not ventured outside in a thong bikini. We live in a conservative area so this would be frowned upon. My wife doesn’t really care for them so she would be horrified if I tried to wear one on a beach vacation.

I wear thong underwear and swimwear.

For the underwear, I find them to be most comfortable and supporting especially as active as I am. I recently started wearing 3in shorts. They provide greater movement and wearing smaller underwear compliments.

When I sleep I switch to a g-string.

Thongs are my go-to swimwear. First it feels great to wear a thong at the beach and it provides a great tan. I'm not out at the beach to show off but being in good shape and having a Golden-Greek-Tan it gets noticed. Plus the freedom of movement when walking, jogging, swimming, SUP, just a great feeling.

Same reasons why a lot of others have pointed out.

I like the minimalist nature. I wore boxers and boxers briefs for years and the swap to having less fabric was incredible. Wearing a thong feels like wearing nothing.

It's sexy. I'm not turned on by wearing thongs but I do feel sexy. I like the way my butt looks.

It's supportive. Well fitting thongs hold the male parts very well, often better than looser fit undies.
