I used to try and correct people when they referred to men's bikini-cut swim bottoms as "Speedos" since a Speedo is a brand name, not a description of men's bikini-cut swimwear. I soon gave up because I realized I was fighting smoke and no one was listening.

Does it annoy the hell out of anyone else, when you go to the product reviews for the underwear you are considering buying (to see if anyone posted pictures of themselves modeling the undies you are thinking of buying), and instead of taking photos of themselves in that particular bikini or thong, they take pictures of the postal package containing the underwear in question?! I mean, who the hell gives a good flip about the postal package in which it came?! I want to know what it looks like when worn! I swear, sometimes I wish I could track down the man who took those pictures, slap him on the back of his head and shout, "WTF are you doing!?"
NO ONE gives a 5-cent frack about what the postal package looks like, we want to see what the underwear/swimwear looks like when it's being worn!
