Re: Rear strap
For me, the rear strap makes a huge difference in comfort. I prefer narrow thong bands between 1/2 to 3/4 inch wide. Thong bands wider than an inch can be uncomfortable due to too much material stuffed between the cheeks. Thin elastic g-strings are also uncomfortable. After wearing a couple hours the string starts to feel like its digging in too much. A thong band feels much softer. One of the reasons I prefer buying from a brick-and-mortar store is so I can look at the thong band to make sure it will work for me. When buying online, you don’t always get a clear image of the back, you cant tell from a model photo, and they never list the thong band width in the description.

100% feel you about shopping brick and mortar. The problem is that many brands aren’t available in stores. I often just roll the dice and buy a single pair from an online retailer to assess fit and quality, then buy more later. It’s a slower process, but it’s made me realize I enjoy doing the research and reading up on what people are saying.TheThongster wrote: Sat Oct 11, 2025 12:17 am For me, the rear strap makes a huge difference in comfort.
