Straight here, I love to wear thongs and g-strings, but I also have a lot of micro bikinis, anything that’s small and sexy.
I wear cocksox swim thongs to the beach and thongs to the gym.
We’ve got a few gay friends and they mostly wear god awful undies, not in the least but sexy, which I find odd, you’d think it would be the other way around.

So I am straight and married I guess in another time if I were say 30 years younger in the current climate I might describe myself as bi. That said it changes nothing to realise that now at 53 and married with 3 kids. I love my wife not looking to change anything. I wear thongs exclusively and over the past year have dealt with the fringe wear cases like massage, and doctor visits, so whilst there are still some briefs and a couple of boxer briefs in the draw I have not worn any of them for over a year.

Re the comment about being gay and underwear choice I guess it’s about not wanting to be seen to be too gay or effeminate in my choice of underpants.
I have loads of different colour slips. Lots of sloggi, schiesser marks and other brands. Some are very bright so might be a bit of a give away I thought.
Incidentally when I played Gaelic games most guys wore slip briefs playing for support. It was rare to see guys not wearing slips but now it’s less common. I used to find the changing rooms very distracting. Can’t beat a man in slips or yfronts, which are my favourites

I've preferred microwear for both underwear and swimwear for years. As I make progress in bodybuilding and tanning...geez, things keep getting smaller! I like string bikini underwear, and my current swimwear is the M73 Stuffit Rio from Skinzwear. I think of my microwear as a holistic part of who I am in expressing my sensuality and sexuality, as well as representing articles of clothing which offer great comfort and support. Like you, I enjoy seeing it on other guys in the locker room or at the beach! I am puzzled about the idea of microwear being thought of as effeminate for men, because I think both competitive male bodybuilders and male strippers would be puzzled at the very idea. (Remember what they are wearing when in the "public eye!" ) And that is exactly what makes sense in showing off the "fruits of their labors!" Enjoy your microwear, and wear it proudly! I am straight but I do enjoy watching some gay porn too, and always found it funny that gay men rarely wear thongs in porn, unless you look at trans porn, some of the 'twink' stuff, or femdom stuff. Gay Latino guy here, leaning a little towards the bi side. I love briefs of all kinds, bikinis, and thongs. Only wore boxers for a little bit in middle school and high school because I didn't feel comfortable enough with my body at that point. I grew up watching hunky male leads wearing skimpy underwear and swimsuits on Spanish telenovelas and watching wrestlers with small trunks so it seemed perfectly natural to me. It wasn't until around early 2000s that the "briefs are uncool/gay" mindset really started to settle in.
