This brings back memories of a job I worked years ago that my shift ended at 2-3 AM. I would leave the building, get into my car, strip down to my bikinis and drive home. The roads I took to go home, at that time of night/morning there wasn’t a soul on the road, so on my route home there was a bridge going over a highway. I’d stop my car, get out and walk to the side of bridge and when cars/trailer trucks would go by I’d climb up and stand in the rail of the bridge in nothing but my bikinis for all driving by to see in their headlights.
. What a rush that was!!! I would do it again in a heartbeat if I had the opportunity!

Well, thank you so much guys, I will wear a thong that is more confortable. also, I dont drive a lot, so that could me part of the problem.

I guess it depends on what a road trip is, at least a bit. I've often worn thongs on longer drives (2+ hours) and haven't really noticed any issues. Same with plane travel. But I only wear thongs about 5-10% of the time, with the rest as bikinis (many of which are thong-adjacent!)

I've worn plenty on road trips, but I won't wear any pair I own. Definitely have to be the most comfortable. Prefer any of my Jack Adams pairs, Awry Cheekies or 2x-ist T-backs.

I find thongs very comfortable; sometimes just wear a g-string without shorts on a hot day.

I love thongs on long trips but specifically one. It is Aerie Superchill modal string thong. It's made for women but perfect for men. The front is wonderfully stretchy but it has full elastic bands. The back is a tiny elastic string. So comfy and so light, it's like wearing nothing. I like these under baggy clothes while I travel.

No problems here wearing thongs or gstrings on long car (or plane) trips. With a good fit, you don't even notice them anymore
Haven't driven wearing just a thong; hats off to you, Thonglover8k. Sounds cool, though. Maybe I'll work up the courage...

I wrote a story about a game we played with my gf during a roadtrip.so...i know how uncomfortable a thong may be...hehe..
Anyway, seriously now, since i dont have any other type of underwear in my drawer, i always wear my thongs when i drive for long distances...
Very often i drive from the island i live to athens...it takes one hour to the port, 1.30 hour shipping, and 4 hours driving until athens.
My gf wear also only thongs...but she is always co- driver and have the freedom to change her position on the seat, maybe things are more easy for her...
I cant remember hearing from her any complain.i know that she always choose for the road trip comfy style of thongs, like from tommy hilfinger...
For me...ok sometimes i feel a little discomfort at the tail..where is the thong triangle...never from the backstrap.
To be honest, the back string is well situated between the cheeks, never annoyed me.
When i feel discomfort from the tail, i try to re position me on the seat. Or i know to stop and have a break.in this case i dont touch the thong...just go out of the car for a while...having a coffe or eat something...
