Locker Room
Re: Locker Room
So today I changed Into a thong in a fairly busy locker room . It does take a bit of doing ! I found myself facing the room rather than away just to ease myself into the whole thing …. Of course the front of a doreanse thong is pretty skimpy too so there really is no hiding place ! But they are so light and comfortable . I can see that in future when travelling they are going to be great . Space savers in a suitcase you bet !

Hi Aberman and swimmer78, thank you for your thoughts. Well, to be honest i cant explain the difference of my feelings between Cyrpus and Greece. i think that Aberman is right.i felt more liberated in Cyrpus maybe because i was far away from my country.even though society in Cyrpus is far more conservative comparing with Greece. there i was stranger between strangers.
I agree with Swimmer78 also that different enviroments efffect on our behavior. especially if we are talking about a choice which is different at least.
Maybe we write that we dont care about others opinion about us , but honestly i dont think that we care.even a little.after all we are social animals according Aristoteles so we do care and seek for approvement.
Anyway as you two i try my best to cool myself down from feeling stress and empower me.

Re: Locker Room
Of course there are huge differences in locker rooms . In college or sports teams lockers room you are crammed in with packs ( I use the term with intent !) of guys that you know . This can lead to picking on anybody who wears something different .
Personally , I wouldn’t feel comfortable in that type of environment . Once you get out of that system and you are changing with strangers it all becomes much easier .

Re: Locker Room
I was thinking about the "hurry up and put your pants on" phenomenon -- I don't have the regular opportunities for changing in locker rooms these days, admittedly. But back when I was in high school, in the late 80s and early 90s, I saw some guys do this...I didn't, for whatever reason. I don't feel like I was showing off or anything, but the pants/jeans were always the last thing I put on (except for my shoes, LOL.) And this was back in the day where the after-gym showers were kind of mandatory (to whatever extent that could be enforced) so I was frequently walking around the locker room in my underwear. I was never fully nude (except in the shower itself, LOL) but would be in my underwear (usually something like Hang Ten, Brut, or FOTL string bikinis) and a T-shirt, or even a cropped T-shirt (remember -- it was the late 80s) between the shower and the locker room itself. This continued in college. And I guess it's a funny thing about continuity, because I've been in a locker room only sporadically since then (I've posted a couple of things elsewhere so I won't bore everyone with a recounting) and it's been pretty much the same for me. Pants/trousers/jeans/khakis are the last thing I have on, and I still largely wear string bikinis. (For the record -- string bikini, bikini, and thong only...no boxers/boxer briefs/etc).
I guess it's because I'm so used to not wearing pants, as I live alone so the pants are literally the first thing I take off when I get home and the last thing I put on before I leave!

Covering up quickly is very understandable .... getting dressed at a normal pace is a great sign of confidence which I’m trying to grow towards . It really is up to you what you wear .....

Re: Locker Room
Try not to worry what the other guys think. I was apprehensive for years but I regret it. When I worked up the courage to change normally and not be concerned about others I quickly realized that no one cares. Now I just take off my street clothes and my cotton thong , put on my Lycra work out thong in plain view, then my workout clothes. After the workout I strip down to the thong and stroll to the shower and the steam room or hot tub then stroll back to the locker. When I dress I change into a clean cotton thong , go check my weight on the scale, then dress. Sometimes if I shave at the gym I will stand at the mirrors in only a thong. It took a while to develop the confidence but I really should not have ever worried. Don't be embarrassed about your underwear. Hold your head up, check your posture, walk slowly and confidently and you will feel empowered.
Re: Locker Room
I’ve worn a backless jockstrap in the gym locker room that was definitely one of the most revealing underwear I’ve ever worn the front is covered while my butt was completely exposed to my surprise no one made a big deal ? I’ve even had full conversations while wearing my jockstrap people were cool with it made me more comfortable to wear it and less anxious but I’ve always been pretty secure with my body mainly because I workout and have a nice body. You really just got to own it though with complete confidence

I always wear bikinis at the gym. Sometimes string bikinis sometimes a more regular cut bikini. I’ll walk around proud in my bikinis and have had conversations with guys about them.

I am now a member of Anytime Fitness, and I have been to four different AF gyms in my city. All four gyms have locker rooms that are gender neutral, and they all have private changing rooms and private shower rooms. Thanks to these private rooms, I don't have to get naked in front of others.
