Next to me was a group of six people early to mid sixties , mixed male and female chatting generally.
I wasn't earwigging, but they were talking loudly so I overheard when a lady (early sixties), said that she had just cleared out the flat of a male relative that had recently died. Apparently he was only sixty!
She said that she was surprised that when she cleared out his clothing, in his underwear drawer was only socks and thongs!

I expected hoots of laughter and piss taking to follow if I'm honest, but to my surprise, nobody batted an eyelid. one guy said "Fair play",
another just said "Each to their own".
The lady who had discovered the thongs was more curious as to whether he had purchased them himself , or if his carer had bought them.

I thought it was an odd thing to bring up in a pub conversation, and I wonder what the reaction would be of a younger group of people?
Anyhow, I saw this as a positive view of men wearing thong underwear .
Sad to think the person passed, but also sad to think that his collection was probably thrown in a bag and trashed - he might have worked for years building the collection spent good money on them and for them to just be trashed. I guess that happens so everything we work so hard to earn/buy. I am glad that no one snickered or made fun of the deceased for his thong choices.

Gregtomo - great story of the lady asking you to take her picture. Took guts on her side to ask for her picture to be taken and to ask a complete half naked stranger :D . I think it is the sun, the waves, the sand, but generally people are just nicer and friendlier on the beach. I mean really, where else can you leave your stuff walk away for 10,20,30 minutes and return and nothing been touched. I know not all beaches are that friendly or trust worthy, but in general people are there to relax not harass. I'm sorry the little girl's grandpa didn't handle the situation better, but kids say they darnedest things and we sometimes don't have the right words quick enough. I did see you in the yellow suit (IG) and it did look very nice and a modest cut.

Thanks David. To add to the grandpa story, his reaction had me laughing with the grunt. Plus, they made no big deal of it. I try to keep it modest. Yeah my suit is modest compared to most of the dudes prefer to wear g-strings. To each their own. Thanks for following on IG.

Hi David_NC,

I hadn't considered that this guys thong collection will likely have been thrown away.
At least we can be sure he enjoyed them during his lifetime.

Some of you may know that I have an Instagram account for my thong photos. I have around 1000 followers, and most of them are male. And then, there is this one female follower who likes most of my posts. I asked her if she was weirded out by my posts, but she said that she loved my posts.
