I've started getting underwear with waistbands that are between 1-2 inches wide these days and what can I say, I love it. My briefs stay where I want them to stay under my pants it's great. Plus, I kinda like the bad peeking above the waistline.
This is what I've been wearing recently and it's great.

Thicc Waistbands
Re: Thicc Waistbands
Yes, I like the wider waistbands on my thongs and Tangas.
My Calvin Klein thongs and my favourites.

Yes, I can appreciate that too, although the widest I generally go is like the Kiniki Oxford line up, Agacio, or a couple of the Chinese-origin string bikinis I have from Amazon...also, Papi thongs.

Re: Thicc Waistbands
The narrow string is nice, but the band will dig into my waist. The wider bands are a fantastic fix in solving this problem. My favorite would be the 1" band. Comfortable, and I really don't worry if the band shows. Showing would be a rarity as they are lower cut bikinis. And hey, If they show - great! People will know I wear nice, out of the ordinary, underwear!

I find the best ratio for comfort is to where the band is wide enough to cover where my belt would go, other than that if I’m in comfy clothes the thinner the better.

Re: Thicc Waistbands
I used to wear papis with the wide elastic, but I discovered 2xist sliq micro bikini briefs and made a full switch. Much narrower elastic, and now that those appear to have been discontinued, the 2xist sliq hip bikini brief has become my new go to. Maybe 1/4 inch elastic. I love it. They are light weight and feel like I am wearing nothing. Highly recommend! Though I guess there is a downside to them…due to the thin elastic, they aren’t as tight fitting around my waist and they tend to get pulled down in the back by my pants. Not the end of the world, but some might find it annoying.
