Jockey Elance Bikinis
Re: Jockey Elance Bikinis
I wear them regularly and have quite a few in my collection. They are great simple bikinis briefs to wear. Very nice comfortable but flattering cut and stretchy enough cotton too. I have found the sizing to fluctuate over the years. I wear small and some are too small whereas others are perfect.

The Jockey Elance strings are my go-to underwear by a long shot. I've worn them almost exclusively for the past 15 years. Jockey has finally begun to add some new colors and styles on a regular basis.
I do have a collection of varied underwear, but this is my favourite brand and style. Love the comfort and string bikinis are a pretty sexy cut.

Yes, I love the Elance bikinis. Glad that they still endured over the years. I remember seeing them in department stores growing up and really wanting some, but didn't get a chance to get my own until I had my own money years later.

I wore Elance in the 1980s and 1990s to early 2000s, was my go-to for underwear, but frankly, wasn't very well done. Those days they came in a plastic tube of 3, and there was always one or two colors or patterns that were bad. Hard to buy a good 3. The cotton material was not very stretchy. I had a lot of them separate from the waistband for about an inch or so. I wore all of them out, then moved on.
How are they now? Is the material any more stretchy? The old ones would stretch but only to a point, then get pretty firm. Color combos better? I see they've gone to a couple of string styles. I did try the thin string ones, kind of not great, the string was uncomfortable. The style is ok, I'm in a string bikini every day practically now, just not theirs.

I tried the elance bikinis in the past and they were too inconsistent in sizing. I wanted to like them but they just didn’t all fit like they were supposed to.

I still don’t understand why the Jockey Elance Bikinis are no longer sold in most department stores or even the Jockey Outlets. The only place I have been able to find them are at the Macy’s anchor store in NYC.
Do you think people have stopped wearing them or is the age demographic who wore them getting older and disappearing?

These were my first bikinis that I tried. These help me realize that I wanted to ditch the boxers and go with bikinis ! They were the nave blue , maroon and a pine green 3 pack . Just wish you could find bikinis in the stores again .

I wish they still made the crochet knit one that used to come in the striped set back in the early 2000s, also go back to the old fabric and fit before they relocated production sometime in the 2010s

It appears that Jockey may be only making black or white elance bikinis going forward!! Go to their web site and you won’t see any but white and black for sale! Not sure why people aren’t buying them!

Re: Jockey Elance Bikinis
I sometimes question what Jockey does as well...they seem to go in cycles of availability for certain cuts, styles, fabrics, etc. I don't wear them THAT often but a few times a month. They HAD a microfiber string bikini that I just recently discovered and only bought one of because I generally like higher cuts and have not had a lot of luck with those over the years...but as it turned out, I do like these and when I went back to buy more in other patterns...that line was discontinued. So out of luck, I suppose!
