Underwear advice/help

Post by SSFChibi »

Hi all, I generally prefer wearing trunks also known as hipsters depending on the brand. I have tried many brands from sloggi, firetrap, and most recently calvin klein. Now I have a small waist so I go for a size small as anything bigger doesnt really support me however the top of my legs are quite thick so when I wear trunks the leg part tends to roll or bunch up. I recently bought some john lewis own brand briefs thinking it would be best to move away from trunks but the pouch area is non existent even though I'm not really packing a huge amount. I have ordered a pair of aussiebum briefs to see how they fair but I'm also thinking of maybe trying their trunks to see how they fair. Anyone have any advice on trunks that don't ride up or any experience from aussiebum? Thanks

Welcome to the forum. To answear your question. I am not aware about any trunks which don't ride up. As cyclist I am quite slim and have also this problem about bunching, rolling etc. Briefs are quite okey for me, and most of mine are Calvin Clein mesh sport brief which are not available now. But best of all for me are thongs, no bunching, no rolling, no riding up, just staying in the same position comfortably for all day :)

I would also like to welcome you! You might want to start looking into the smaller styles (like thongs, string bikinis or g-strings) for comfort and support in your daily activities. You will find all kinds of helpful information and suggestions here for the different brands and styles that Forum members like. Good luck!

Welcome to the forum SSFChibi, I wore trunks for years and yes they ride up - I have thick thighs as well. I would suggest trying other styles that can accommodate for this. 2ixst has a great modal string bikini, skinny sides full rear coverage and ample pouch area, awry has a similar design but I have not tried them, yet. I also think thongs would be a great choice, as I wear them daily. JM skinz is a good choice for a basic (cost effective) thong to try, if you prefer cotton, C-in2 is another good choice, they use the waist band style thong. If you had particular brands or styles in mind - this group is a great resource.

I used to wear trunks as well and always dealt with the sides bunching up. Then I switched to string bikini briefs which helped a ton.. eventually I switched to thongs and been using them for the past 15 or so years.

Hey man, welcome to the forum.

I am a man that have a big ass and big legs and I’m short (5’7) so, clothes are tough to fit my body. I would suggest some thongs cause you have nothing on your legs and ass that is on the way, and also are very refreshing. If you think that thongs are too much for you, try some tanga-brief or bikinis (80’s style underwear kinda), they are gonna give you the freedom on your legs.
But my recommendation is definitely thongs

I don't have any experience with trunks, but can vouch for the bikini/string bikini/thong comfort level, especially if one has a generous, umm, caboose. I'm 6'1" and also have a caboose, and I can't imagine dealing with more fabric than what I've already gotten. In terms of brands, I think you can tell from my "what am I wearing" posts, it's 90% Kiniki.
