What is your favorite beach or beaches to visit?

I'm going to go with the Outer Banks. Hopefully Florence didn't cause too much havoc. The top reason for the Outer Banks is it is where I honeymooned. Two there is a lot of miles of beach to choose from and you can get a way from the crowds if you want. Three it is where I consider my first public appearance in a swim brief to be at.

I'm headed down to Clearwater Beach this weekend for the boat races.

Ohio State Park beaches are going to my pick this year. My wife and I are camping at one in July. The state law allows Thongs and G strings anywhere in the public park. "While in the public at Ohio’s State Parks you must have both male or female private parts covered at all times. Private parts are defined by Ohio case law as being either male or female genitalia. As long as your swimwear conceals your genitalia it is permitted."
I can wear a thong while cooking on the campfire!!
I already informed my wife that I'll be wearing my thongs at the beach and hiking. Can't wait to camp, this might become an annual event.

My favorite beaches are the beaches of Holland and the north of France. I like long beach walks and with low tide, the sand is hard and the beaches are very wide. Outside season those beaches are quiet and the people are not hung up about skimpy suits. I prefer to walk in g-strings and when it is really quiet, I walk nude. You will not be in trouble if people spot you like that.
Since 2010 I live in the USA and the closest beach is Sandy Hook, NJ. It is a two hour drive for me but it is worth the effort. The beach is tiny but at least it is a beach.

Welcome to the forum beachlion!We seem to have similar tastes in as much as we both wear g-strings,like to be nude whenever possible,and love the beaches in Europe. Countries like Holland,France and my favourite destination Italy,have a much more liberal attitude to skimpy beachwear than here in the UK or in the US. I'm sure you will enjoy being part of The Bottom Drawer family and in time will feel able to contribute more of your experiences for us all to enjoy.
