My personal preference is for no pictures on the site . It keeps the site clean and more focussed on good intelligent writing and the psychological side of the subject . There are many places where photos can be seen , but this is a good space to discuss , styles , women’ attitudes to swimwear , places to go and the small issues which trouble the average swimwear enthusiast … how to get round having lots of swimwear delivered without your partner thinking you are crazy for example ! Anyway that is just my view .

The best way to thong in public is go to the beach / pool with a selection of thongs/G-Strings and if it’s busy wear a thong if not wear a G-String , trust me nobody is going to say anything to you ! As I have said before Fuerteventura is a great 1st place for thonging or for the more daring, transparent strings with cock rings or jewellery .
I’d agree with TM .... go armed with a few very small styles ... take no shorts ... if it’s your first time you will then be forced to go through with it and you will be so pleased with the experience ... another tip for nervous thong ... tanga... tiny bikini wearers is use headphones , they give you that feeling that you are in your own world and inside your head you have the background music to a great day
Don't have a problem wearing a swim thong on the beach. Now, I want to push the envelop and wear a swim thong at my local municipal pool. Has anyone worn a thong at a public pool?

I haven't for a couple of reasons, 1) I haven't been to our local pool since Covid, these days I prefer the ocean. and 2) While I'm happy to wear a thong to the beach or even go nude at the right beach, I'm very aware that there may be kids around, so generally only wear a thong to certain beaches and wear a bikini / speedo to more public / family beaches.
I do love wearing almost nothing, but also respect what others may think or be comfortable with.
Not something I’d do in the uk , personally . If there was a hotel with a Sauna / steam I’d ask first casually . I’m sure you’d be pulled up in a municipal and it’s just not worth the hassle . Pick your time ( early / late) and ask first . I know lots will disagree but this would be my approach . Not a municipal though .
I definitely would not wear a thong at a public beach or pool here--even in the liberal Pacific Northwest. Speedos or a full coverage bikini are another thing, though I never go to public pools. There are plenty of isolated river beaches, swimming holes, alpine lakes, less populated beaches, etc., where it is more appropriate to wear skimpy thongs. We also have a few nude resorts and nude beaches here in the PNW, so there are also options there. My wife and I tend to stick to swimming holes and isolated reservoirs, etc. I still need to use our HOA hot tub! (I would not wear a thong to the HOA pool though!!!)
I am glad there is not picture sharing so folks are not forced to see anything, and that makes it more acceptable for younger members. There are other social media outlets for image sharing for those that like to partake.

I totally have the same approach for the same reasons !
I'll wear swim thong g-strings at the beach if I can find a more secluded spot with fewer people. I don't mind if there are one or two other people within a 25 yard radius. If the beach is relatively empty, I might even run along the beach for one or two mile stretch. But I get nervous if there are groups of people nearby. I get paranoid that clusters of people are laughing at me and then I will cover up with a bikini or square cut briefs. But a single person here or there doesn't bother me. I try to get out once a week in the summer. I'll do workouts in my g-strings.
I won't wear g-strings at the public pool that I go to. But I will wear a skimpy bikini, that often rides up in the back to form a tanga/thong. If the pool is relatively quiet, I'll rock the thong. But if there are more people, then I'll cover more skin with the bikini.
