Spa in Spain

So I just arrived in the canaries and there is a nice spa part of the hotel which mostly appears quiet . Intend to use the sauna , pool steam and relaxation beds tomorrow and maybe lounge around for a couple of hours . I have with me a black joe Snyder Capri which is 1/4 back at most , à true red joe Snyder thong and some small bikinis . Do you think I should ask about thong wear in advance at the reception or just go ahead and wear it ? I’m a bit torn , advice needed

Hi Aberman. Hope you have a great time in the sun. I woke up to a thick ground frost this morning, but I'm not jealous at all. lol. Perhaps you could start of with one of your small bikinis and see what the other hotel guests wear in the spa, and hopefully there will be some women wearing thong bikinis which will give you the green light to do likewise. If you and your partner were both to wear thongs there is less chance of someone making a fuss. Hope the situation will allow you to go as skimpy as you dare. Good luck from a very chilly Scotland.

My partner , she doesn’t like o thongs on me so I’ll be going solo . I’m pretty sure the other guests will be wearing board shorts . I wear small bikinis in Scotland so I would like to be more daring here . I think I’m Inclined to ask , for the next day . If they say no then a tiny bikini it must be .

I suppose you could do a thong trial in the sauna and steam room. You would be sitting down most of the time, so it wouldn't be so obvious you were wearing a thong, and you'd have a towel to cover yourself if you felt uncomfortable at any time. However, it does seem that you won't feel at ease until you ask the staff outright if thonging is allowed. Let us know how you get on.

So I asked the nice lady at the spa reception . And she misunderstood me at first thinking I was talking about any swimwear and then I said , but thong and tanga swimwear is ok …. She replied oh yeah yeah yeah yeah don’t worry …..
So tomorrow I will spend some time in there but I don’t want to hide in a towel … all I’ve got to do is overcome the conservative Brit element …. I’ll pretend to be French !

I don’t think I would have asked , the worst case scenario would be asked not to wear a thong which in the canaries would be very very doubtful, put your thong on get down to the spa and enjoy, and remember don’t take backup big pants swimwear with you !!

Did exactly that , took only my Snyder Capri quarterback thong and there was not an issue . Shared pool , sauna , steam with a couple of others and not any reaction …. Time to hit the pool …. Red Snyder thong

Hi Micro , I just went along as normal actually and even had a discussion about the heat or lack of it in the sauna . It was all very natural and wearing a thong is an immense confidence booster , because most other guys are thinking , I could never do that , I’m sure
