Skiviez website

Post by TANGA TANGA »

I recently saw some g-strings and a string bikini I liked on sale on a website called Skiviez. Decided to buy them, but I was put off by the fact I couldn't see the shipping charges before I clicked on the payment button. The site had a message us button which I clicked on and asked about their charges, but the message wouldn't transmit. I'm just wondering if any forum members have bought from this company, especially if you live outside the USA, and what the charges were? I have a feeling there might also be custom taxes to pay.

Skiviez is run by the same company as mensuas and I think there is at least one more website they have. I've bought from their mensuas one a few times with no issues. It's been a while since I last ordered. Never contacted them before. Maybe try another time using their contact us form. They should give you shipping costs before you actually place your order. Though it should be the step before entering your payment information like you said! They do say customs and taxes are up to the buyer to pay on their shipping info page.

Thanks for that info, Nate. I didn't know they were associated with Mensuas which is the company that I bought lots of mainly Daniel Alexander goodies from a few years ago. The reason I reluctantly stopped buying from them was due to being hit with high customs and delivery charges which made it too expensive to continue, so I assume it would be the same for Skiviez. I do envy you guys over there who can buy from companies like that without incurring high delivery/custom charges.

This is exactly my problem, the exchange rate US$ to AUD is about 2 to 1, the higher cost in US $ isn’t usually a problem, but when postage is added plus import duty, a $20 pair starts to get pricy. I love Gregg Homme, but some undies go for US$50 and more which makes them prohibitively expensive for us poor suckers in Oz.
