Hi all, just curious if anyone has any swimwear or underwear resolutions for the new year?
I’ll share mine to start:

1. Wear my thong on the beach. I have done this once before, but it has been several years. I want to work up the courage to do it again.

2. Post at least one photo on social media wearing a speedo. That’s a tough one

I’m way ahead of you mate! I’ve been wearing thongs to the beach all this year and posted both me and my wife in matching speedos (budgie smugglers) for our Christmas Day swim.

I’m way ahead of you mate! I’ve been wearing thongs to the beach all this year and posted both me and my wife in matching speedos (budgie smugglers) for our Christmas Day swim.

Much respect! I’ve really struggled with the social media part. But I’ve just go to do it.

My New Year’s resolution is to wear my black Manstore Tarzan strap string under my very thin white skimpy Wojoer clip tanga at the beach in Fuerteventura, the plan would be to walking for perhaps an hour or so in and out of the sea so the Tarzan string was clearly visible underneath my Wojoer clip tanga,next step is to unclip and remove the Wojoer tanga when walking with other people behind us , they would of course think I had a g string on then watch the surprise when I turn around!!

I'm trying to see if I can go on a short trip to Miami next month or February. I definitely want to go to the beach in my bikini briefs to get a good tan, relax, and go for a swim. I'm going to buy me a thong to wear too. I'm primarily staying near South Beach, but also go to Haulover Beach at least once.

I might also put on my bikini briefs this summer here in Texas, but in special opportunities even at some pool parties. I'm also planning in going to Mexico and I will definitely wear them there too.

I will likely start with some shorts that I will take off eventually so I will just be in my bikinis or thongs. No board shorts that look and feel like drapes to me.

My resolution is to wear a thong on a public beach where it's legal in my state (NC)! I've worn thongs on the beach at the lake near my house, but that's not as public as being on a "real" beach. Not sure if that's a trip I could take my wife song on--she hates that I wear thongs--or if it would be a solo trip, though.Maybe I could talk a guy friend into doing it with me instead...

100% the boardies feel like drape. Ha.

I’m a fellow Texan. I wore the thong once in Galveston and trying to get the guts to do it again. I haven’t been to FL but seems like there might be more briefs/thongs on the beach there, except maybe the panhandle.

My goal for the new year is to wear a swim thong in every place (beach or pool) I visit this coming year. So far on my agenda are: St. Kitts, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Florida, California, Missouri, Ohio, and Illinois. Of course here at home I wear a thong every time I go to the beach.

One more thing I forgot to mention, I do want to get photos of myself in bikinis/thongs and only share them with a few people I trust. I don't mind putting a select few photos some in a few websites since and I won't blur my face. Of course these would be tasteful photos. By doing so, I hope these types of suits become a bit more acceptable in the US.

I don't live that far from Galveston and I might try to put on my swim bikinis there at one of their beaches this summer. The reason I'm doing that in Miami first is because it seems that they are more acceptable there and I wouldn't feel too out of place. Plus I want to escape winter here for a bit and I need a vacation. I'm building up my confidence level to wear them so these are baby steps for me.

As I said many times, drawing attention to myself is the LAST thing I want. Part of the reason I rarely go to the beach or pool is because men in most of the U.S. are expected to wear those long baggy things. I've tried them and I don't like how they feel on me. I mean, if I'm going to get wet I don't want all this excess fabric surrounding my body holding all this water. It doesn't make sense to me. I can tolerate short square shorts.

I've tried bikini briefs in the past and I like them way more.

The Florida Panhandle might as well be either South Alabama or South Georgia, at least culturally.
