What was the first pair of colored briefs you wore? What brand and what age?

I’m 44 and didn’t have colored underwear till I started wearing black jockey elance bikinis at age 32!

My first bikini style underwear and first color other than white was a bright red Jockey bikini, part of a three pack with black and bright blue. I was 16 years old and took part of my first “real” job paycheck to buy them. I loved them and felt quite sexy and confident. I took a verbal beating from my mother for wearing girl’s underwear (even though they were not) when she discovered them. But, I never looked back and stayed true to myself and my choice.I moved on to thongs when I left the parental home.

I mostly wore basic white briefs, but I am sure at some point i had a pack of navy blue or black briefs. I can vividly remember being 7 or 8 and wearing just my white briefs with one of my dads oversized tee shirts around the house. But for the memory that comes to mind, my first colored briefs were actually animal print string bikinis from either Hanes or Brut; my mom bought them from k-mart around 1994, I was starting high school and wanted "grown up" underwear.

Yes, mine was the foray into bikinis and string bikinis, with both feet and a lot of tempo, from tighty-whities to that literally overnight at the beginning of 9th grade.

Those Jockey packs at Walmart were the best back then, at somewhere around 14 - 16 ish too! I had the briefs version which I felt amazing in and sort of started planting the seed of interest haha. My mom said I grew out of them when one day she gave then away and I was disheartened. But I believe there was a green one in there somewhere. Always wanted the string bikini versions but she used to say that was for when I get married lol.

I got patience but not that much haha!!

As far as purposefully going for colors that we'rent black, blue, gray was when I bought myself a pink / watermelon JS tanga at 19. Baptism by fire! Gray and brown are a little boring, which I realized with time.

I used to wear white briefs when I was young. Then when I turned 18 or 19, I began to wear boxer briefs and boxer. I recently began to wear briefs again recently at age 39, but not in white. Well, I do have one emergency pair in white.

I first realized there was something other than tighty-whities in 5th or 6th grade when the "cool" guys came to basketball practice wearing colored briefs under their gym shorts. I wanted some so badly. It wasn't until 8th grade when Mom started giving me $20 a month for my "clothing allowance" (this was the mid-70's) that I got to make my own clothing choices. We lived in a small town with one clothing store. They sold Munsingwear color briefs and later got some Hanes colored briefs. I got one each of red, navy, and light blue Munsingwear briefs and was thrilled. Mom didn't really care, but warned me my Dad wouldn't like it. White briefs were the only "manly" choice, according to him. I really pushed the envelope when I got the green, yellow, and blue versions of the Hanes low-rise briefs with the flower pattern. A couple years later we moved to a larger town with a mall. I had more choices there. I ordered my first bikinis from Sears and found Jockey Life low-rise briefs and tried to get every color.

I got my first pair of lime green slips at age 18 whilst still at school. I wore them in the locker room for swimming and there were looks.
A friend of mine wore Tanga briefs and one time I was sure to be out before him, dressed and out wearing his tangas from next under my green slips from Matalan.
I used that tangas well.

I got my first colored briefs when I was in 9th grade....can't remember the brand but I loved them because they were skimpier than the whitey-tighties I had been wearing!

when I moved from white briefs. I did all the way over to bikini briefs, and sport tanga briefs, I remember my dad was so upset, but it was my birthday clothes purchase and he sucked it up.
