For those of you with large collections
For everyone that has a bunch of thongs (or other undies) in your drawer, how do you go about rotating through your collection? I usually do my laundry once a week but I probably have 60+ thongs. I end up keeping my thongs separate from my other laundry and end up washing them when I'm getting low. It works out pretty well because I use the delicate cycle and hang most of my thongs to dry anyway so I'm not fishing them out from my other clothes. Just curious what you guys do to make sure you aren't wearing the same stuff over and over again - not that there's anything wrong with that
Re: For those of you with large collections
For me, my thongs are not rotated with any design or process when it comes to underwear. Depending on what I will be doing I either dig through my drawers to find a specific thong or style to match the activity or clothing I am wearing. Other times it is just what ever I happen to pull out. My swim thongs are more organized and I make sure to wear a different one each beach or pool day. Even on vacation/holiday I’ll have a different thong for my sun time each day. Then the thong goes into a different bag until I’ve exhausted the selection.

I usually separate my undies into groups and have them in designated drawers which makes it easier to find a particular garment. My favourites(mostly g-strings) are housed in a wardrobe in my bedroom, but the other styles occupy 5/6 drawers in another room. I also have the freshly laundered undies in what we call the hot cupboard, so named because it contains the boiler. I have to admit I do sometimes fall into the trap of wearing and washing the same bunch of undies especially if they are on the clothes horse or in the hot cupboard. This can also happen when I buy new undies like the string bikinis I bought a few months ago. I love how they look and feel so they are currently in heavy rotation. Occasionally I will empty all the drawers and go through every item which is when I discover some neglected gems that need to get an outing and the ones that are hidden at the bottom of the drawer for a reason(lol).

I have a large thong collection but usually wear the same few over and over again, rotate, and do the same with the next few. I tend to have 3-4 at a time that I select from.
And I wash each day’s thong in the shower and hang it to dry.
There are quite a few I haven’t worn in a very long time.

I put my underwear in a net laundry bag before putting it in the washing machine, which as well as keeping them together, also lessens the chances of them snagging on trouser zips etc. I also do the same with socks which stops them getting lost inside towels, bedding etc.normalguy-wildundies wrote: Wed Nov 15, 2023 2:18 pm For everyone that has a bunch of thongs (or other undies) in your drawer, how do you go about rotating through your collection? also wash things with Velcro fasteners separately. They will destroy your underwear! One time I made the mistake of washing a tactel string bikini that I had with a hat with a Velcro fastener and it destroyed my tactel string bikini.TANGA TANGA wrote: Thu Nov 16, 2023 8:15 amI put my underwear in a net laundry bag before putting it in the washing machine, which as well as keeping them together, also lessens the chances of them snagging on trouser zips etc. I also do the same with socks which stops them getting lost inside towels, bedding etc.normalguy-wildundies wrote: Wed Nov 15, 2023 2:18 pm For everyone that has a bunch of thongs (or other undies) in your drawer, how do you go about rotating through your collection? Re: For those of you with large collections
So interesting to hear what everyone does. For me, I have four drawers full of undies, my top drawer is my thong and G string drawer, I just throw the washed ones in and next time I come to choose a thong it’s pot luck, I don’t try and wear the same thong or G string over and over, I just randomly pick one.
As for washing they just go into the laundry basket and are washed with our ordinary washing, I do wash the same colours together but that’s about all the special care I give them.

Up & Down
I have my underwear organized as winter and summer.
The winter one is made of briefs and is the one that is now in my bedroom drawer.
The summer ones (sports briefs, bkinis, thongs and jockstraps) are now in an attic of the closet, because, even in winter, I wear a summer garment from time to time.

So I'm bad, underwear is washed with socks and tee shirts - all in cold water, gentle cycle and soak - then delicate low heat dryer. I'm sure there are some that should be handled with more care - but I will be 100% honest - if a thong says it should be hand washed and hung to try - I typically won't purchase it, I've got two small kids and don't have time for extra care on my underwear. As far as rotation, I have 85+ thongs - 13 of them are JM, which are my "go to" for everyday wear. I probably do wear them over and over, the others are worn when/if I want to wear a specific color, or style, or want to feel more sexy.
Re: For those of you with large collections
I try and rotate so I am not wearing the same ones over and again. My choice of the day mostly depends on what I am feeling . I have my underwear separated by style . I have one drawer of bikinis, one for thongs, one for gstrings , one for sports jocks and a smaller drawer for fashion jocks. It keeps it easy that way , though there are some I am sure that some don't get worn enough. For the most part I wash my underwear by hand and let hang dry.
