Comfort mainly. I'm autistic and so don't like / cope with change.

Underwear is irrelevant mainly as people seldom see it.

To that end I was raised naturist and so on our beach we don't wear costume although you see occasional men walking up and down the beach in the regalia you describe and subscribe to.

That's fine, I just find it odd that some textiles frequent a public naturist beach.

Some of our responses to your comments may have seemed a bit harsh, but it did seem like you were having a dig at something many of us are passionate about and doesn't make us feel less manly than guys who stick to conservative styles.

As someone who sunbathes nude whenever possible and often doesn't wear more than a g-string around the house, I understand the whole naturist thing, although I bet you get some stick about that.

I hope you find the kind of website that satisfies your desire to discuss underwear and will leave here with no ill feeling.

They'll just call you freaks and weirdos which I just find funny.

There just aren't any underwear forums now, there was a cross-dressing one, I can't remember the name of it, but that went.

I'm curious, does this board cater for just things and bikinis or are are men who wear, that's it - menehowearpanties was the name of that forum - are men who do that accepted on here?

The forum has a broad range of followers who wear a variety of underwear/swimwear styles. The word panties is sometimes used as a derogatory term for bikini briefs and speedos, but is usually associated with female underwear. There are some larger framed members who wear female panties because they are available in XXL sizes unlike male underwear, and some just like the feel of them. The more posts and topics you read, the more you will understand how diverse the forum is.

I have watched countless videos on youtube and read many articles where the word panties or man panties has been used in a derogatory and sneering fashion to describe what a guy is wearing, and you may be surprised at the abuse and assumptions that are made about guys who wear briefer styles. You will have noticed that members use the term bikini to describe garments that are narrower at the sides than regular briefs, so nothing to do with women's swimwear.
Being Scottish, I am well aware that certain words have different meanings depending on which side of the Atlantic you live on. You have highlighted pants/trousers and panties/knickers, but dare I mention the often misunderstood fanny pack(stop sniggering at the back).

We have a facebook page (Fan Page) but men are afraid to post because FascistBook quickly flags their content as "Nudity" and "Sexuality" and the poor guy gets banned from posting for 30 days. It has happened to me many times. So, now nobody posts anymore!

Guys, I am the administrator of the "HOT Guys/SMALLwear" group on Flickr. If you are not welcome on Facebook, you ARE in our group!!! The focus is bikinis, string bikinis, thongs and g-strings. Either flaccid or erect is fine (as long as the "package" remains in the pouch!). If your Fan Page is as welcome on Facebook as a wet dog at a wedding , join Flickr and transfer your interest (AND great "pitchers"!) to us! For Facebook to label your posts as having to do with "Nudity" and "Sexuality" is an absolute howler! If you are wearing microwear, you are NOT nude. As for "Sexuality," I don't recall any Literotica "epics" on here! Those of you already on Flickr know how to join a group and submit pictures for the group's photo page. I was asked to be the administrator for our group after the previous one left. I made a few changes to improve the content, and it is steadily growing. In this group, the administrator approves the submissions, and here's something you'll enjoy knowing: I "deny" pictures trending towards "bored" shorts!!! The ones "approved" are of the variety (all in good taste, of course)! The WHOLE IDEA is the freedom to express one's personal sense of sensual (and, yes, sexual) self. It is a HUMAN NEED! In addition to the sense of support and comfort which microwear provides, being "nearly-nude in a reasonable manner helps us to feel more self-confident in all aspects of our lives.The group is for ages 18 and up. I'm NOT ashamed to be on there, and I'm proud to be associated with the group. Sure, the pictures are sensual and revealing, to the RIGHT degree! Looking forward to welcoming new members!

Based on this, I opened an account on Flickr under a different user name. It took effort to find the "HOT Guys/SMALLwear" group and join it. I only had my "safe" beach photos to add on my "free" account. Then I looked for other groups of interest. After a few days Flickr "flagged" my account and terminated it. I had "Excessive favoriting". Upon review they let me in but I still could not find anything worthwhile, so I deleted all my safe beach photos and posts so I could close the account. Then they beat me to it and "identified your usage as 'risky' and closed the account" for me before I could ask. Flickr has the clumsiest old software, hard to add photos, and search can't even find the right groups.
