The Vasarrette string thong. Even though these were women's panties, the stretchy lycra/spandex fabric easily accommodated the male anatomy. And they didn't have any lace, ruffles, bows or scalloped edges so they were passable as men's thongs.

My first bikini panties - made by Caravan - very pretty colours (one lemon, one pink) and soft nylon. A long time ago, and I loved wearing them.

Does anyone from the UK remember a company called Estelle? They advertised in the small ad section of a few British newspapers way back in the early 80's or possibly late 70's. I bought quite a few of their skimpy bikinis and thongs which were made of nylon and were often totally transparent. I kick myself for not keeping any of them(I think they all went into a charity bag). Not long after that I discovered Kiniki, but I'd love to hear from anyone who bought from Estelle way back then.

There's a company called Hang Ten and they used to make some pretty decent cotton bikinis. Hang Ten is still around, but they don't make men's underwear anymore.

I would love Kinki to bring back some of their classic prints in the same cut and style and material as they were. They could brand it as a retro line.

I also really miss Prevail Sport - they so many great prints and a perfect thong and bikini cut.

I wish they would bring back ribbed Briefs and Bikinis! I remember a friend in high school having Honors and Brittania low rise ribbed briefs!

I went to Club Med in 1980 and the male GOs each wore the tiniest "Club Med" logo bikinis. I bought one and wore it for years at the local Beach. When I went back to Club Med around 2000, they no longer wore or sold this style.

A couple that I would bring back would be blueline string bikini and the bodyware eminence tanga .
