I wore a thong in the pool for the first time.
This morning I went to the gym to do my water aerobics as I normally do 6 days a week. I wear swim shorts, because thongs are against the rules and I don't want to get in trouble, or have my membership canceled. Also sometimes people bring their children to the pool, and being that I live in a rural, small Texas town, thongs are definitely a no-no! I cut the lining out of my swim trunks because it's uncomfortable and does not fit well. Normally I wear bikini underwear under my swim shorts for support, but this morning I tried wearing a thong and I loved it. One thing about thongs, they always remind you that you are wearing them, but not in a painful way. I'm looking forward to the day that I can rock a swim bikini in the pool, but my body is not bikini ready yet!

Wow! So did anyone say anything to you or react in any way? I take it you didn't get in trouble?JustSomeDude71 wrote: Sat Jul 29, 2023 12:39 pm This morning I went to the gym to do my water aerobics as I normally do 6 days a week. No, I kept my swim trunks on over my thong. Wearing thongs in the pool still feels great, even with swim trunks on over them.

Oh I think I misunderstood your post, you wore them under your shorts.swimmer78 wrote: Sat Jul 29, 2023 2:06 pmWow! So did anyone say anything to you or react in any way? I'm just curious! What do the women in small, rural Texas towns wear when it comes to swimwear?

I plan to do the same at the pool next week on my vacation and at the pool at the gym that I'm planning to move. Instead of a thong I'm going to wear some swim briefs and take the shorts off once I'm in the pool.JustSomeDude71 wrote: Sat Jul 29, 2023 12:39 pm This morning I went to the gym to do my water aerobics as I normally do 6 days a week. At the pool at the gym just wear the swim brief right from the locker room. That will build your confidence right out the door. Trust me you will be so much more satisfied with yourself.jason_greets wrote: Sat Jul 29, 2023 6:25 pmI plan to do the same at the pool next week on my vacation and at the pool at the gym that I'm planning to move. I was at the beach a few weeks ago wearing a G-string I left my shorts in the car. I needed to get a drink from my car so I walked 100 yards to and from my car.
Just be normal and people won't even notice you.
Just Do It! You'll be happy you did.

Ralange won't tell you to do something he hasn't already done himself, although I think he's being way too modest if he thinks no one noticed him in a g-string walking to and from his car 100 yards away.lol.ralange wrote: Sat Jul 29, 2023 7:06 pmAt the pool at the gym just wear the swim brief right from the locker room. The only women that use the pool are senior citizens, luckily, they do not wear anything skimpy!Microbikiniman wrote: Sat Jul 29, 2023 3:47 pm I'm just curious! What do the women in small, rural Texas towns wear when it comes to swimwear?
