My wife was ok that I have this underwear thing going on. If you are married or have a significant other, Just curious as to if they are ok with it.in your relationship. Look over the years, it seems I have had a 50-50 response to this as far ar yeas and nays.

Hey Mad -- I've not been married so I can't speak from that perspective but I have had several girlfriends (and hookups) over the years. Maybe some of the recent encounters are a bit more relevant but, for example, I recently got re-acquainted with an old friend from college, so this is more than 25 years ago and her excitement was ...extreme... at discovering my bikinis and learning that they are normal (not special occasion) underwear still to this day for me. (She remembered me from college, obviously.) About 10-12 years ago, one of my girlfriends actually bought me CK thongs to wear. So I'd say it's been pretty positive overall!

I think the first girl I was dating who discovered I wore thongs was not into it, but she tolerated my bikini underwear. After that, however, girlfriends and hook-ups seemed to be more into it than the last person! My ex-wife was on board and occasionally bought some for me (the really embarrassing part was that her Mom even picked some out). Current girlfriend is into it and prefers that I wear Speedo style suits to the beach.

I was about 18-19 when I started wearing thongs so I was pretty self conscious about it. I wore them for me and no one else. I was convinced that girls would kick me out of bed if they found out so I was pretty careful not to let them see or feel them. But as I got older and stopped caring, I found out that not only was I not getting kicked out of bed, it was a turn on for them! Current GF is into it, so I'm not complaining at all.

I've found that if you own it, people accept it; if not, I'm not here to cater to what other people think of me.

One girl I was dating for a few weeks never expressly said she hated my bikini and thong underwear, but I did absolutely get the similar comment of "...you always wear the most interesting underwear." I did not detect a hint of approval in her tone, but I also knew this was going to be about a one month relationship so I didn't care.

My wife is similar in that she does not understand my interest in it and she does not understand why I buy more when I already have so much. However, she understands it is an interest of mine and does not demand that I suppress it.

She has accepted that when we go to the beach, we will both probably be wearing thongs or strings. Only a couple of times has she ever asked me to wear something a bit more modest, and I accommodated her because she does not ask often. Even then, in those cases I'll typically wear something like a Cocksox square cut suit, so it still is no swim burka.

I must agree confidence wins. In each of my long term relationships my partner has never raised the question of wearing something less revealing. Being sexy and confident is attractive.I’ve been told many times how much my thong is liked, adored and fun. I’ve had my partner buy thongs for me in each of my past relationships. The first time undressing with my partner had her smiling and telling me how attracted and surprised she was. I agree women love confident men wearing thongs.

My ex-wife knew I had quite a collection and really never understood it. She didn't really react negatively, though. I did hide a good portion of it from her since I had well over 100 pairs at that time and only kept 20-30 in my regular drawers. I now have well over 300 pairs, plus speedos.

My husband likes my collection and my interest in fun underwear. He's not really into it, but he did switch from boxer briefs to bikinis and briefs when we started dating. That was a fun conversion.
