I think people are a bit busy (as we should be). I used to come daily but I also felt people posted more on weekends. Agree though, more posts more posts!! Sometimes I wish we'd get more reviews on the main site haha. Kid me ate up this site in the early days.

Yeah, things have been pretty crazy for me; heaven knows there are plenty of stories from my past that I think people would enjoy, but by the time I remember something and then decide to post about it...something else comes up and I don't get a chance to do it. My Portugal thing from a couple of weeks ago had literally JUST happened that day, so it was pretty fresh in my mind! When posting something else a bit ago, though, I remembered when I was a freshman in high school and staying overnight at my grandmother's house and this was right after I had made the switch to men's underwear and ditched the pajamas...but parading around in front of Grandma while wearing Jordache or Gitano string bikini briefs was not the best plan, perhaps!

Your last sentence somehow brought to mind the scene in Saturday Night Fever where John Travolta's Grandma sees him in his black bikini briefs and, if memory serves me correctly, covers her face with her hands in horror.

I can honestly say I've never seen the movie! That said, I am familiar with the scene now that you mention it. I didn't dance although I'm thinking Grandma was somewhat taken aback. It's not like I was parading around or anything, but I did walk past the kitchen on my way to the bathroom in the morning and was wearing my standard string bikini briefs (can't remember which ones specifically) and a cut-off T-shirt and she saw me then.

I know personally I’ve been swamped with work and kids. I joined the forum during the pandemic and had more time during the week to read and comment. Since returning to the office I don’t always have time during the week. Then I get busy and go a week or more before checking in. I’ve also been overwhelmed with a project at work traveling to all of our offices and hope to be finished by august.

Hi David. No need to justify why you can't always check in to the forum. It might surprise you to know that you are the fourth most prolific contributor to the forum averaging almost one comment a week since you joined three years ago.

I don't really have much to say, except that I have been losing weight lately.

Next month I'm going to a fandom convention with a few friends and we'll be staying at a hotel room. There is a pool and I think this would be a great opportunity to buy and try on a speedo or two. I'm actually looking more forward to that than the convention itself.
