Heard of Moot yet? This is an interesting brand which in a way is a little groundbreaking. I'll try to link the article where I originally found out but basically this metalworker man gets into the underwear biz. He wants proper clothes for men. It's a bit interesting because the way he interviewed it sounded like any other men's underwear company. Just a humble guy trying to elevate men's style.
Once I went to the site I was shocked at the options. BUT here's the kicker, I feel it makes sense in a way. Not "crossdressing", it's accentuating male bodies. That part is truthful, and it shows. Unlike cross where you just throw on women's wear. The bodysuits and such do look made to present male sensuality shall we say. That being said maybe the feminine influence is too much still, but it'll be an interesting brand to follow. I always like to see our hobby make strides, but what are your guys thoughts?

I read some of the interview with the Moot founder and was immediately put off by him stating that he couldn't find any intelligent, well-crafted and striking underwear made specifically for the male body. He obviously didn't look very far, as there are many brands that produce garments that fit that description.
Many, many years ago,I received a catalogue that was full of lingerie for men. I think it was a part of the Kiniki brand, but I'm not 100% sure. Having had a quick look at the Moot website, the merchandise is very similar to what was in that catalogue, so they are not as groundbreaking as they would have us believe.
I personally don't like to see guys wearing frilly panties, garters etc, but I would defend their right to do so.

It's going to be a hard pass on me, it doesn't float my boat. I'm not into frilly lace and bows or feminine-looking underwear (except for on women's bodies). Even in the past when I have worn women's panties, I never wore anything that could not pass for men's bikini, string bikini and thong underwear. I won't even wear purple or pink briefs.

Couldn't get the more humble sounding article of him but I agree lol. Sounds bad. Can't believe some of that risque stuff Kiniki and Bodyaware dared to present back then is mostly lost to history. Would've been cool to have more of those catalogs scanned. I feel there's a spectrum. As years pass these companies try to land in a sweet spot. Also learn from what sells or doesn't. I like the thought design. Bodyaware and Candyman imo have delved into close if not perfect translation of formerly "feminine" styles. I think it's great. There's a lot of lazyness out there and pretty on the nose stuff that is like "woah. too much." or "why?" or "this is copy and paste from women". No panties, no crossdressing, no literal cupless bras, no princess cosplay. That's fetish territory (different convo). But delving into something that COULD translate masculine I'm all for it. Especially once it reaches mainstream, that's where we get to see the bloom. I like to see where it goes.TANGA TANGA wrote: Sat Jun 10, 2023 4:32 am

What an interesting topic. Like you JustSomeDude71, it’s a pass from me too. I’ve never worn female underwear, all my bikinis, thongs and G strings are made for guys. Some of them are a bit risqué but still made for guys. I do have some lace bikinis from Kiniki and Doreanse but again made for guys, I generally don’t wear them much as I find them scratchy, I’ve recently started buying pink and some yellow undies, which I’ve really started to like.JustSomeDude71 wrote: Mon Jun 12, 2023 2:02 pm It's going to be a hard pass on me, it doesn't float my boat. I’m just interested in nice underwear for myself and my wife, I get it that some guys are into the frilly stuff, but you’d never see me in a suspender and stockings.
