Thong @ School
Re: Thong @ School
I'm not sure why you need to get the PE teacher involved. I wouldn't. I'd just go ahead and wear a thong to school.
Is PE just one session per week - if that is the case wear the thong just on the non-PE days to get confidence. No-one is going to know anyway except you. To start I'd keep to the usual underwear for the PE day. Then when you feel more comfortable at school switch to the thong for the PE day (so a thong each day by then). I would not wear a thong on a PE day and then switch out of the thong and into normal underwear just for PE, it's not worth the hassle.
By now you'll have experienced wearing your thong all day, sitting, moving, bicycling and so on, so you know what to feel down there, so at school it should not be any different. You'll be discovered eventually wearing a thong so be prepared for some banter, but even worse.
Another challenge for you, after this thong to school experience, will be brief swimwear, as that is going to be seen by everyone.

Hi Miguel! First let me say congratulations on getting and wearing your thongs. I read through your first post and all the comments. So glad you have a forum with guys who can give you good advice. A big shout out to microbikiniman and his advice to you. You show great maturity and confidence at your age! I wish I could have worn bikinis and thongs when I was a teen but they weren't even on my radar. That said though I have to agree with justsomedude71 on this topic. I know you to wear your thongs confidently in public, and you will, but I think it best to hold off until you get past your high school years. Definitely DO NOT approach your PE coach about your thong underwear. It could put him in a bad position. Unfortunately your peers and people in general will make assumptions and judgements about your sexuality and masculinity if they know you wear thongs. Especially in the USA. It's not right or fair but its the reality. If word about your thong underwear got out, the bullying could become overwhelming at your age especially if you are on social media. My advice is too just kinda lay low with it until you are a bit older and around more mature people.
Give speedos a try if you have swimming available to you. I think you will enjoy that a lot. Good luck!

Appreciate the advice and I do see how telling PE teacher would be a problem. As for friend I’m still on edge about telling him but as far as wearing to school I would still like too and y’all are right try wear on days when I don’t have to change in front of anyone that’s an idea. I do see what y’all mean about guys my age and being judge mental. Thank you for looking out for me and if only other guys my age wore more openminded it make things a lot easier. I do hope to tell friend cause it’s something like you said about wanting to let people know but not everyone. I definitely will think about what said and thank you all for taking time to answer me appreciate it. I guess finding way to bring up subject to friend is something to work on.

Just wear it if you want no need to ask anyone anything about what you choose to wear under neath, I usually have my undershirt or towel around my wast in locker rooms anyway, and if they notice shrug it off, you know who you are, they can either deal with it or not that's on them, what you chose to wear is your choice and no one else's.

I'm in line with JustSomeDude and DownUnder. Stuff like a guy wearing a thong in high school will spread like wild fire. Wearing them on days when there is no PE is the way to go. I didn't start wearing thongs until college, but I did start wearing string bikinis in high school. I never noticed anyone else wearing that style, so I stuck with wearing them when I knew I wouldn't be changing Infront of peers.
I can understand wanting to let people know. It's something I've thought about. For me it is some about wanting others to know how great the styles are and spreading the word that guys have the options. Some is about having someone's support for wearing them though now I have at least my wife's support. Maybe someone to talk in general about. This is why the blog and forums have come about. To bring the like minded together and discuss what we enjoy and to support each other.
As for telling a friend, I think testing the waters of his thoughts on the subject is a way to go. Not out right telling him. Maybe get on the subject of women wearing them. Then maybe a question like ever wonder what wearing a thong is like? I'd say it comes down to the maturity, comfort and trust level with your friend. Good Luck.

Re: Thong @ School
I know I already responded but I am glad others agree with holding off wearing your thong on PE days.
I think that may not be necessary depending on when you get in the locker room, how long your shirts are and how quickly you change.
as an example I stopped wearing underwear my senior year of high school and I had gym class every day. I was surprised no one ever mentioned my lack of undies and my locker mate (a friend I'd known for years) I "warned" about my lack of undies and to not be alarmed and grossed out, he was fine with it.
another friend who I didnt know as long but got closer to throughout the school year (a freshman) I asked after high school if he'd ever noticed my lack of underwear, he said he kinda did but wasn't sure if I forgot it one day OR I was wearing super low rise briefs haha.
these are two examples of a positive reaction, it can go the opposite way and bullying for eternity.
I'd be careful/cautious on PE days.
as far as the friend, I'd start asking about his underwear and mens uw in general and see if hes awkward or weirded out (pay special attention to his tone of voice and facial expression) if he is, then I'd give up, it's not worth ridicule and bullying because one person ruins it for you. if hes open and casual then continue but try to make it hush hush or keep private between the two of you. if he really is open and trustworthy than keep him as a friend for your entire life, those people are rare...
if hes open to talk about undies in general then over time bring up thongs one day.

Re: Thong @ School
It's been so long since I've been in school, it seems, so anything I would have would just be a guess! I've posted the story elsewhere so I won't repeat it in detail here but when I first started wearing bikini underwear, it was in the late 80s and I was in 9th grade. I was the only one in PE at the time (that I could see) that was wearing bikini briefs (and they were string bikinis to boot); never any comments despite my lowly status as freshman. Eventually, there were more of my peers who did as well. Times have changed a bit in several different ways since then and I don't know what it would be like for a freshman today to strip off his jeans in the locker room and have little Jordache string bikinis on. I have to think that a thong could very much be a bridge too far for many.
Re: Thong @ School
Maybe they started wearing because of you?! You were a trailblazer! A Trend Setter! Awesome!Pennbikini wrote: Sat May 27, 2023 9:56 am It's been so long since I've been in school, it seems, so anything I would have would just be a guess! Re: Thong @ School
Maybe some influence but I can't claim it over everyone. I eventually saw other, older kids who had been wearing them all along. By the time I was a senior, I'd say maybe 30-40% were in bikinis or low-rise briefs. Some of them were adopters, some were I'm sure those who would wear them on days they didn't have gym class and then they just decided to start wearing them all the time, like I did. But again, I admit that times are likely different now and a thong is pretty different across the board...

Thank you so much for the advice. Gave me a lot to think about and I know it be better to not ask PE coach anything for sure. I would like to see what friends thinks about in general about underwear it would be cool to get his idea on it. I haven’t had the courage to ask but maybe I will drop some hints and I will let y’all know what he says I also don’t want to be upfront about it either kinds like how you y’all said about testing his reaction. Good idea and thank you to all again for everyone advice and tips appreciate it
