Tightie Whities (ALL UNDERWEAR)
Tightie Whities (ALL UNDERWEAR)
hello all, I LOVE tightie whities!
I know typically that term means white briefs but who likes other tight white undies? by that I mean by definition could also mean: thongs, bikinis, tanga's, even swim briefs.
thoughts?
anyone exclusively wear white undies?
BTW I am copying this post since general uw talk is dead....

What sucks is, that (being 51 years-old) it's harder to keep them white in the front... dang prostate! Stain treater helps a lot, also I hand wash my underwear in the shower... helps keeps my whites white!

White is a colour I actually avoid with underwear. It just evokes memories of the childhood underwear and how glad I was to leave that stuff behind once I became a teenager. I'm happy with pale colours, so does not have to be black or navy, just not white.

I have a fair representation of white undies -- a couple thongs, probably 3 or so string bikinis...the white Kelly tangas from Kiniki used to be in heavy rotation but they wore out. Have not replaced them yet, though that is on the list!

Re: Tightie Whities (ALL UNDERWEAR)
I tend to associate the term tighty whities with the thick cotton y-fronts that were popular back in the day. Not what you'd call sexy, however I do think that white can still be a hot colour depending on the fabric, such as nylon or lycra. Skin tone can also enhance a white garment. I personally feel white undies looks better on me when I have a tan, and a white swim bikini/tanga/thong on a darker skin really stands out. I don't think I could limit myself to one colour when it comes to underwear or swimwear, but I definitely have a fair amount of white skimpies to choose from.
Re: Tightie Whities (ALL UNDERWEAR)
Yeah, when I hear the term "tighty whities" I tend to get images in my mind of huge, baggy Y-front briefs that look like diapers. And I guess we're starting to get away from using the word "bikini" apparently many think that is a feminine word used more to describe women swimwear and underwear. But I'm content at calling them briefs.
I have seen some men's bikini briefs that have a mock Y-front fly on them and they don't look too bad, although I am preferable to a seamless, no-fly front of a bikini brief. A flat-front pouch is nice if you use the right fabric. Cotton isn't very stretchy, neither is silk of satin unless it is blended with nylon, lycra, tactel or some other stretchy fabric. Silk bikinis always fit like panties to me and my testicles are spilling out.
Pure silk isn't stretchy at all, there is no give to it. So if you're considering a silk bikini or thong, take into consideration that it mat not fit well in the pouch. I have bought silk underwear before and regretted it because there was little coverage in the front. I have large testicles, so the average silk bikini isn't going to fit well or comfortably.

I have very few white undies, regardless of style. I prefer a color or pattern. I think this stems from one time in gym class, around 10th grade. There was a guy changing clothes for gym and I just happened to look over and saw skid marks on his white briefs. He probably didn’t even know it, but since then I rarely wear white.

I get what you're saying, BUT anyone who wears undies (either boxers, boxer briefs or thongs) can have skid marks. it's all about hygiene and wiping well after #2. also using a simple toliet accessory like a bidet! I bought one for $20 on amazon and it was an easy installation too!David_NC wrote: Mon Apr 03, 2023 11:33 pm I have very few white undies, regardless of style. I prefer a color or pattern. I get that white undies are easier to see skid marks but that shouldn't be the reason to not wear them
my final thoughts: I freeball a lot of the time too, I've heard people think that's gross and my response is still the same: it's all about hygiene and wiping/shaking well after using the toliet. theres PLENTY of guys (and women too) who do wear undies and are not hygienic at all. because I AM clean amd hygienic, that makes me cleaner than someone who does wear undies.
Re: Tightie Whities (ALL UNDERWEAR)
If I choose a brief with shapes or patterns on them, I prefer a seamless brief, so as not to interrupt the continuity of the pattern or print of the brief. It's like getting surgery and they have to make the incision over one of your favorite tats, and that tattoo is forever ruined with a big scar across it! That's what a center seam does to underwear/swimwear with patterns or prints on the front.David_NC wrote: Mon Apr 03, 2023 11:33 pm I have very few white undies, regardless of style. I will say that specific event is not the only reason. I do wear white briefs, I don’t think I own a white thong though. I just prefer my underwear to be colored or have a pattern.
