Personal reviews on JJ Malibu and ErgoWear thongs and bikini's

Post by SM_Thongguy »

Hi Gents

I am planning my thong and bikini purchases for the year. Based on all your talk and reviews of bikini's, I am sold on getting some bikini's this year ;)

The plan is to buy a few items from JJ Malibu ( polyamide thongs and bikini's ) and also ErgoWear ( Feel and Max modal thongs).

All will be imported from the USA to South Africa. So your reviews would greatly assist.

Especially because cost is going to be higher to purchase and import.

Thanks in advance,

p.s. if anyone has other bikini brands which are comfy in the front yet sexy at the back (don't like the full back ones) that you want to suggest I am open.

Hi SM. Have noticed quite a lot of guys wearing JJ Malibu swimwear/underwear on Instagram. They do seem to have a good range of sexy, skimpy styles but I would imagine they are quite expensive. I would personally recommend you check out Daniel Alexander swimwear and underwear. I bought a lot of their g-strings, which I love, from a company called Mensuas, and they were a good price when in the sale. I've also got two of their halfback string bikinis which are very brief, but feel and look amazing. I hesitate slightly to recommend Kiniki string bikinis because some of them can really flatten rather than enhance your package, but I do have a few of them which are very comfortable while still being on the skimpy side. Hope this helps!

Hey Tanga

Thanks for the reply. I will def check it out - the main issue is always price and also if the store imports to South Africa.

I just missed a sale on JJ - Their classic thongs were $5.

I had no luck with a response from my twitter followers on either brand. I have not tried either of them. JJ Malibu did respond to my tweet with "You can't go wrong with JJ Malibu." I know people like Ergowear, but was thinking they liked one over the other. If I do hear anything I'll let you know. https://www.mensuas.com/ does say it ship to South Africa, so you might want to check out their selection. Watch for sales there and you can get some good deals though sometimes the deals are certain colors.

Here's some info from @underweardude on twitter and his experience with ergowear "Was not a fan of the Feel line at all, but they seem to be decent sellers for Ergowear so they must work for some guys. Max are fun but I'm not sure every pair is good for all day wear."

Then from @BikinisNThongs "I'm with @underweardude. The pouch is wierd and doesn't feel all that great. Maybe its kind of like the new AC lines that only look and feel good on the massively hung. The Max line is pretty comfortable and can easily be worn all day. I had all styles - bikini, jock, thong, trunk. I might still have the thong and a bikini. They run a little tight, in my opinion, so he might want to consider that when ordering."

I value both guys opinions, so hopefully that helps you with ergowear.

No experience with the brands you are choosing. However, you might consider companies that are resellers of other brands. Mensuas was one already mentioned. DUGG (Down Under Guys Gear) is one here in AU, so there may be some in ZA that you could try.

Disadvantages are that they do not stock all brands and styles, but they do allow a quick check of some of the brands/styles available. Maybe cheaper postage as well since the parcel is coming from the same country.

Thanks Tbdrawer. I signed up to Mensuas yesterday, filled my cart but will monitor for better sales. If I purchase at the wrong time my total cost per thong after shopping and customs will be $60.

Thanks for putting the word out - I shall await your feedback. Also, I see Mensuas has Feel range which looks exactly like ErgoWear, will most likely try those.

Wow! That is a great feedback. I thought the Feel Thongs back was bit wide. Yet on the opposite end, the models for ErgoWear wearing Max range- makes it appear as if it is a small pouch. The goal is to wear thongs daily hence comfort is essential.

Hey!!
Well I have worn both brands and this is my opinion.

JJ Malibu I have tried their thongs, I bought time ago their bikinis models, and they are super sexy and confortable, the problem I have time to time is, whenever I bend over or I sit down, you know your pants move around and they dropped down my bikini all the time and it’s so awkward I don’t like it, I were them time to time because they are in my drawer but that’s all. Maybe the thongs have better support.

Ergowear, the once I recommend you are the once have a wide waist band, they are more support and I found them sexier, the thing I like of it is, when every I’m sit or when I bend over, it doesn’t move, and i love it because sometime i show my thong little bit! So hot.

And also you can buy some thong or bikini in N2NBODYWEAR, there are offers of $10 or $15. I thing you’ll like them.
