Let's talk Favorite pair of bikini underwear

In the past it was those Jordache string bikini briefs my mom had given me. I wore those forever. Well until they started fraying.

Then I found several brands.
Reed St. James. I loved the string bikinis, they had less coverage in the back.
Jake Taylor they had everything covered a low rise brief, bikini brief, and a thong.
Hanes had a bikini brief, string bikini and a thong. They all had a waistband with the logo on it.
Fruit of the loom had some bikini briefs too.
Joe Boxer they had the best thong. I bought xl and put it on and never felt it on, although it was a little big, sized down to a large for a snug fit. I still have the thongs.
And many other brands in the 80's/90's that I can't remember but those decades were the best in underwear at the big box stores.

I have been sewing my own underwear for several years now. I can make the pouch as deep as I like, or the sides as narrow as I want, or the back as full or narrow as I like. I would suggest trying it out as a basic sewing machine and a few yards of spandex fabric don't cost much. You can make quite a few thongs or bikinis with just 1 yard of fabric! PM me if you want to chat more or need advice or help as I am happy to share patterns and tips on sewing spandex. Also have made a bunch of pairs for friends online too.

I would have to say the 'Alex Tanga' from kiniki. This is my n°1.
I also have some Cambridge Tanga from them, (wider waist band) - like them too.
All string bikinis.
Altough the Kelly Tanga (Kiniki) does not fit me so well, I still wear it sometimes because I like the looks so much. Adorable.

I wear the Alex a lot too (have blue ones on right now), along with the Kelly and the Newton. The Kelly is my fave out of them all right now; like a few others, I liked the Prevail Sport, the cotton string brief and the rio-styled ones, although I think I had more fit problems with those. I used to like some BodyAware stuff too; they had microfiber and cotton string bikinis that I wore (and back then could barely afford...I'm not too keen on their newer stuff now.) Back in the day, before Kiniki and those, I too would have the Jake Taylor, Hanes, FOTL, Life, and Joe Boxer. Before that, in college and high school, there were the Jordaches, Playboy, Brittania, Hang Ten, and others. All this time, I've also had some CK and Jockey around too.

My current favorites are Nimblefly standard bikini briefs. They are cut like the Jockey Elance of the 70's and 80's. I love the fabric and the fit.

Kiniki micro briefs. Skimpy Narrow sides, front seam, mostly cotton and very comfortable

My favourite brand so far is Newsywell, but I think they stopped making those. I bought this same set and they are not only soft, but the quality of the material is good. I love the cut and the price. Much better than Joe Snyder.

Look under the name "Newsywell" on Amazon, where I bought them. Better hurry up because I think they're selling out, but not replenishing their stock.

They might be available elsewhere online.
