2022 Purchases

A place to talk about underwear in general that doesn't fit in thongs or bikinis.

2022 Purchases

Post by David_NC »

With BlackFriday and cyber Monday here, what brands are on your wish lists? Or what have you already bought recently. I’m still wanting to try different brands and looking ideas.

If I were buying, I would be buying more Muscleskins suits and some iSwim suits.

Musckeskins is just awesome, and I love the current gear I have from them. I just need more with other options.

I have not had iSwim before. I really want a couple of their bulge thongs and "Nudist" and "Swing" shorts and tights (or leggings, whatever you want to call them...).

It's been a long while since I've bought anything new, and some of the older ones are fraying...so I will probably go to Kiniki and/or Deal By Ethan to pick out some new ones...

I've just ordered a g-string and a half back swim tanga from Kiniki for a friend's Christmas. He became a fan of the brand after I gave him various unworn g-strings, thongs and swim briefs after I had a clear out. I only ordered them a couple of hours ago and I've already received an email saying they have been despatched. Can't beat that for service.

In the near future, I plan on getting the gastric sleeve procedure for weight loss. I shall hold off on new underwear purchases for a while.

Hey JustSomeDude -- best of luck to you on your weight loss journey. Consistency and patience, day in and day out...that's the only advice I have for anyone looking to engage in that. It's very challenging, but also very rewarding...it just always takes longer than what we would like!

I'd like to try some of the new lines from German companies Tangaland and Oboy. The Tangaland g-string is about EUR30, so about AUD45, although there is a 22% discount, but still too expensive. Oboy has some cheap lines of their own and others, but the postage of EUR29.90 is way too much.

Kiniki has some great discounts, but I reckon I've got enough of their products for now. English company Jovanadesign does not seem to bother with Black Friday specials. So I'm giving this year's Black Friday specials a miss.

So I just went with Kiniki for a refresh and restock on the ones that were getting too worn. I got a few different string bikinis, and I again tried the "Harry" narrow-front briefs, and while I like the cut on the back part, the front just was not right for me. I should also mention that I got inspiration from others on these forums and dipped back into the thong "pool," so to speak, so I got a few of those for the first time in a couple of years!
