Donating bikinis & thongs to charity clothing drives?
Has anyone ever bought men's thongs/bikinis and donated them to charity clothing bins?

Re: Donating bikinis & thongs to charity clothing drives?
Over the years I have donated lots of new or rarely worn underwear and swimwear to charity shops. It would be nice to think that some guys were inspired to wear more daring styles after finding them for next to nothing, but the main thing is that hopefully they helped clothe people in need rather than ending up in landfill sites. I'd love to know who got the two unworn Italian swim thongs that I gave away many years ago when such things were still readily available in high street shops.

I haven't bought any specifically to give away right after purchase but I have donated (gently) used underwear to Planet Aid. I don't think Goodwill accepts underwear, but I understand that Planet Aid does. So I have undoubtedly contributed to variety at some level (so long as they were selected.)

Goodwill does accept underwear, but it has to be new, in the package, or with retailer's tags still attached, Although, I have bought bikini underwear from Goodwill before that had probably been used. Maybe it's just women's panties that have to be new and unworn.Pennbikini wrote: Mon Dec 05, 2022 7:37 am I haven't bought any specifically to give away right after purchase but I have donated (gently) used underwear to Planet Aid.
