Just curious ... what's was your significant other's reaction when they first found out that you wore thong underwear? Did they like it? Did they laugh? Were they repulsed?

I only had positive reactions from girlfriends when I wore thongs (usually for date nights). Date nights were the beginning of my thong wearing journey. I've been a full-time time thong wearer now for 25+ years.

I had a bikini underwear during the time I found my first thong and the girlfriend of that time didn´t like the thong. Later, except one girlfriend, other girlfriends had been very posivitive and someone very positive about my thongs. My masseuse didn´t say anything but we slowly started to talk about them and she was curious what my latest girlfriend (who then even didn´t know there is thong for men) liked about them. My masseuse guessed "they are sexy, of course".

I had been wearing bikini underwear for years before I first bought thongs. Also speedos to the pool and beach. So I don't think it was a total shock when I told my wife I was getting a couple of men's thongs. At first when I told her about it she was weirded out a little but later came to accept them when she saw them on me. She does a lot of sewing and recently altered a pair for me that I bought too large.

I can't imagine why women have such hang-ups about men's underwear?! They wear what they want and they don't care what we think about their panties, although I'm sure if we reacted to the skimpy panties that they wear the same way they get their knickers in a twist about OUR underwear...

Of course it depends on individual personalities but I thing there is an old stereotype. One of my late girlfriend didn´t even know about men´s thong but she liked to see me in my undies very much, so there is also possibilities for positive approaches.
