Kiniki Pulse g-string

Post by DownUnder »

Pulse g-string (https://www.kiniki.com/collections/allu ... 5966280773)

Kiniki has revamped their Allure collection made with see-through fabrics. Pulse is one range that has returned, being made with a 95% polyester mesh, and in more colours than previously. The elastic also differs from the previous version.

I ordered the blue and black versions of the g-string; other colours are available and the new fabric has allowed them to extend the colour range from the previous black, white and skin.

The fabric, although differing from the previous version, is not any less or more comfortable. The pouch is about 1 cm smaller across the top than the previous version, and does not seem to be so much of a bag. I find these fit well around the waist. The tail strap, being a softer and stretchier elastic than the earlier version, I found was a bit too long to be supportive. That's not meant as a criticism, as these are designed for bed use and I wanted mine for wearing while doing yard work. As they are, they work as designed.

However, for my purpose, I decided to modify one by removing 3 cm of the tail, then folding the tail up and over the 1 cm waist strap (so removing 5 cm in all). There's nothing magical in these figures, it was a case of trying something. That stretches the tail strap elastic a bit, but it offers the support I wanted and does not cause any discomfort elsewhere. As has been commented by someone on here before, you should not know that you are wearing a g-string if you have a good one, and that's how I'd describe the modified one. I find that Kiniki g-strings tend to sit a bit high at the back, and one side-benefit of the modification is that this one now sits where I like it.

I intend modifying the other one as well, and should have two good g-strings at a great price (Kiniki stuff at half price is great value).

Good to know that Kiniki have changed the tail strap of these G-strings to a softer elastic, but unfortunate that you had to modify the length of it. When Kiniki brought back their classic Gigolo G-string(still a great favourite of mine), I was disappointed with the quality and comfort of the tail elastic as well as the increased pouch size. Why change something that was well nigh perfect in the first place?
