Skimpy Shop Spotting

Post by RespectTheKini »

Hey friends, wanted to share some online shops that I'm not sure if they've been covered or talked about here yet. Sort of mainstream spotting. Shared two links!

Savage x Fenty by Rihanna
A top and extremely popular celebs lingerie line also has a mens line in addition to their womens wear. Also sizing inclusive for the bigger folk of both gender.

MeUndies
This company has a lot of traction, combination of fun prints and comfort. I remember not too long ago they sent out announcement of a mens thong to be released, which you can now find a page of.

Both of these companies have a very high mainstream viewage, and the fact they have mens thongs I think is a great move. Not sure how long they've been for sale, but most likely around less than 1 year. I've tried to follow, considering they're big on the underwear world train.

Several reviews and intended purpose of course, show the extreme popularity of women buying to taking a peek at the mens line and giving it a try for their significant other. Other reviews with men who have been following in wait for mens thongs! Rihanna seems to have that vibe of enjoying something fun, not unlike another prominent celeb, Heidi Klum with her previous mens thong line offering time ago. The fact MeUndies commented several times they would take the mens thong offer proposition into consideration of release, listening to their audience, to basically the customer base and came through on their word gives them massive kudos.

As for the underwear itself, the Fenty line does explore more alternative styling for lingerie suits and such in other products, and MeUndies shares prints with their regular line. The style of the thong offering IS wide waistband, a sort of "safe" standard, rather than seamless or string side but I think it's still great to be offered. Brick n Mortar Retail has shied away but why should online retail?

I'd like to try them in the future and support more prominent brands expanding into menswear. Share your thoughts!

The first thing I noticed on the Savage thong page was the size of the two models. Many of the followers of this blog and forum have wished to see more guys with bodies they can relate to rather than your usual gym bunnies with the perfect abs etc, so it is both comforting and refreshing to see bigger guys rocking thongs. The actual thongs have too much material and wider waistbands for my personal taste, but they could be a gentle introduction for guys that are thinking of trying one for the first time. The popularity of Rihanna should also attract browsers who might not normally check out men's underwear online.

Ordinary people

It is interesting to know an underwear brand that shows ordinary people as models of their clothes.
Also, for each size, place a different person.
My sincere congratulations for it!

Nice find on the savage x. There are some styles I would certainly try from them. I think that is awesome when lingerie companies branch out and make men's skimpy underwear. Another company that I came across was Cosabella .https://www.cosabella.com/collections/mens . They have some nice styles for men . I like the shiny waist bands , though I wonder is that all of the styles are made of lace. Is that fabric choice going to make customers think twice about trying their underwear styles . The prints seem to camouflage the lace . I guess maybe that is another barrier that needs to come down that is ok for men to wear lace underwear. Though i have had previous girlfriends that like to wear lace and thought they looked sexy in them , I have never tried any men's styles. I am glad that Cosabella is making thongs, bikinis and jocks. I think any ladies lingerie companies that make men's thongs and bikinis will help the bring some more awareness that ok for men to wear them.

I think it is awesome that SavageX showed real men not just washboard abs. We all aren’t runway models and the world needs to know that it is okay for bigger guys to dress in skimpy styles. The prices looked pretty good on the thongs also.

https://www.unbstore.com Uses some stock photos for the items they sell but also has some everyday male models which shows a good contrast that the underwear can be worn by both. And I checked out Cosabella and love some of the styles but I personally don’t like lace, maybe they will add fabric choices in time.

What I like the most about the SavageX website is the prices. I refuse to pay the price of a steak dinner for one pair of underwear. These are reasonably priced at an average of $7 for undies. Excellent!

I thought i would share another link for another shop I tried recently. Here is the link https://www.mertailormen.com/catalogsea ... uch+bikini . Mertailor is company that sells beachwear for both men and women . The enhanced pouch bikini , enhanced pouch thong and a logo jockstrap are style that I have tried. The quality is very good. great fabrics and stitching. They offer some nice colors and prints. The first thing i noticed with the bikini is how nice it fit on my hips. I have never had notice this with any other bikinis or thongs I have. I always noticed the pouch or how the back fits first and never how it feels on my hips. I liked the cut of the bikini, it's has more of a cheekier cut which I like in my bikinis. These can be worn either as swimwear or under. They are priced around 30 dollars which getting close to the top what i usually pay for a normally priced underwear. This company needs to market their bikinis and thongs better , these are as good as other name brand that have tried!
