bikini wedgies

Post by TANGA TANGA »

One of the main aims of TBD is to encourage guys to ditch their dull, uninspiring underwear for something a little more daring, be it a bikini, thong or G-string. For me, G-strings are my go to style and have been for many years, but in recent weeks, for reasons I won't go into for the time being, I've been revisiting bikinis that have been hidden away for years in various drawers. I have noticed that very few of them remain in place and I have found myself doing a Rafa and tugging at them through my trousers to try and undo a wedgie. I realise this is partly due to the fact that during my working day I am constantly getting in and out of a vehicle which can involve sliding across a seat, but it may well be that I'm just so use to not having coverage on my posterior, that if feels weird having material moving around. I actually wore a half back swim tanga by Kiniki yesterday which was very tight, but remained in place throughout the morning. Perhaps the strength of the elastic on your butt determines whether it stays in place or not? Anyway, my question is- does anyone else who usually wears thongs and G-strings find it strange when for whatever reason they wear something with more rear coverage?

I've been a full time thong wearer for many years. When a wear other underwear, e.g. compression shorts, it feels weird not to feel that material of the shorts or pants that I am wearing. Not uncomfortable, just different.

Maybe your bikinis have been stagnant too long and the elastic isn't doing it's job! Though the narrower the back the less likely they may stay in place depending on the design. Elastic strength and snugness I would say are factors of staying in place for pairs like half backs.

I have had the sensation of it being a bit strange wearing a bikini sometimes when I've been on a thong wearing roll. Like rjthongs says it isn't uncomfortable...just different.

Hi Nate. You're right to pinpoint the elastic as being the issue. I think it's a combination of the elastic waistbands perishing over time, even though some of the bikinis didn't get much wear over the years, and also the fact that I tended to order size small back in those days which offered minimal rear coverage. I did discover some interesting items that I'd long forgotten about, mostly by Kiniki, which might make a rare appearance over the coming weeks, but if you ever decide to do a post on unusual underwear styles, I'm sure I could contribute a few oddities. I might even be tempted to buy some new bikinis for the first time in decades just to see how I get on with them.

Ever since using bikinis with skimpier backs, when the odd one does do the wedgie thing I just leave it be. To reference women with cheeky underwear at the beach or so, it's not always perfectly centered or whatnot, as the movement does mess with it. But they seem to leave it be, so why not do the same.

After buying purposely cheeky bikinis, scrunch rear bikinis, and being a thong wearer it does desensitize. Definitely strange at first but almost a "sexy" feeling, but that's just my personal angle. Some of the ones with more fabric (which I avoid lol) may have a more uncomfortable feel of being in, bunched up and non-sexy. Another issue being having to mess with it all day. Heck, we promote undergarments that hug on it's own and on purpose.

I used to own wider waistband bikinis and when I put them on they felt like wayyy too much fabric! For most people they would be too little! Another fact of a thong wearing. 🤷‍♂️

I don't wear thongs too often (I used to more so, for sure) but I seem pretty picky about the thongs, more than my standard bikinis. Which is odd, considering this subject line because I do wear Kiniki Kelly, Daniel Alexander, and Joe Snyder tangas/string bikinis which often achieve thong configuration quite quickly...(cheerfully admitting that I'm not sure what my logic is, but without the older style CK Body thong or Prevail Sport, I don't wear them anywhere near like I used to...though those DA and JS ones can certainly often pass for thongs. :) )
