Underwear styles and colors
Underwear styles and colors
I know that most of the bikinis, strings and thongs we love wearing here are available in pink as one of the color options to choose from. My question to you is, how many of you are willing to buy and wear pink underwear? Would you wear them to the gym where the other men will see your pink underwear? Any why is it only bikini, thongs and string briefs offer pink as a color option? I don't think Hanes, FTL, Jockey, Calvin Klein or any of the other mainline clothing manufacturers will offer pink as a color option in their line of men's boxer shorts, boxer briefs or full-cut Y-front briefs!
Re: Underwear styles and colors
In general I'm not one that likes to wear pink in clothing. I don't think I look good in it, but do feel others pull it off better than me. It may be ingrained in me that pink still represents a girl while blue a boy. I however do seem to be drawn to prints that have some pink accent in them. I have a couple tie dyed pairs that actually have a good amount on pink in them. Then there is my recent acquisition of a Skinzwear M77 stuffit thong that is a lot of pink. There was a swim brief I was tempted to get that had some accents of pink in it too. So I'm willing to buy items with some pink in them, but not just solid pink.
I haven't paid much attention to what is offered anymore in the mainstream styles. Since pink isn't a norm color for guys, it's not surprising the norm in underwear for guys doesn't offer it. I do remember in my teenage days that I saw some briefs that I asked to try that had different color panels in the briefs. A pair of those had some panels of pink.

I agree with Nate that for many of us the colour pink was associated with baby girls, and blue was for baby boys, something which was ingrained in all from an early age. However, there came a time when boys/men were able to wear outerwear such as jumpers, shirts, ties etc in pink without it being deemed feminine or controversial. Perhaps it's the more intimate nature of underwear that has lessened the crossover in colours. There is pink underwear available for men and blue for women, but I suspect neither colour would rank high in any favourite colour polls of men and women. I dare say most of the followers here will have their own particular favourite colours of undies as well as some that are less so. I personally don't like grey, which I find drab, and green doesn't grab me either. I do have a few g-strings and one thong in pink which I wouldn't be afraid to be seen in. I think with all the gender neutrality that abounds in today's society, colours are less likely to be gender specific, which can only be a good thing in my opinion.
Re: Underwear styles and colors
I will wear a pink shirt or a pink tie, doesn’t bother me. But I do not have pink in my underwear drawer. the majority of my under is blues, black, greys, and a few prints. I don’t own pink underwear and while I don’t plan to buy any I wouldn’t be ashamed to wear them but most of my underwear even the prints are subtle. While I like the cut to be sexy I don’t have any that are loud colors. That may be why when I got my DA 780 thong in orange I was shocked how bright it was, the color was out of my norm. I want to try some Skinzwear or other brands that offer some brighter colors without being neon, but need to work up to it I guess. CK did offer boxer briefs in pink, I remember seeing them when I was looking at their bikinis that came only in black, grey, and white.
Re: Underwear styles and colors
I thought pink in such styles was designed for the cross-dressers who could wear men's underwear but have a women's colour, but that's just a guess I have always had.
I remember the pink shirts, never wore one, but a pink shirt with light grey trousers worked for me. Likewise, I have never had pink underwear in any style. Some of the shades that pass for purple are getting towards the pink side though. I have some of these colours. I'd wear them if I had to be seen in them, but pale pink - unlikely.

I have a two pairs that are pink , I never thought I would have any. Blue, black and red are probably the colors that have the most of. The one pair I was recommend by helpful sales lady. She had recommended the Greg Homme Bubble G Homme thong . I was skeptical a first , but thought I would give them shot being I thought the style was looked nice and the pink wasn't to overstated . After getting them they were super comfortable and was happy with her recommendation. With that being said I not brave enough for others see them.

Well, I have so many color full pairs of underwear. I love to wear the black and red its quite different but these are my favorite colors. I love to wear the thong underwear as well.
Re: Underwear styles and colors
I had a random thought this morning, I have a red thong (Calvin Klein Y-back - part of a 3pack) that I have never worn. I them in 2 other colors (and are very comfortable) and wear them weekly, but not the red one. I've said before he majority of my underwear is blue/black/grey and only in the last few years have I added colors/patterns. For some reason I haven't added the red pair in my normal routine, like I am saving it for something special. Red is a bold color for me; however I have worn my orange Daniel Alexander without hesitation so I don't know why I feel the way I do about the red pair. Is there a color of underwear you reserve for special events or settings?? I will get over this fear because it's a great thong to wear so no reason to waste it.

My white bikinis and thongs- I never wear them to work. I only wear them on my days off (Saturdays & Sundays)David_NC wrote: Tue Sep 14, 2021 11:57 pm I had a random thought this morning, I have a red thong (Calvin Klein Y-back - part of a 3pack) that I have never worn. I don't have a colour I reserve for a special event and I'm happy to wear most colours, but I'm not over keen on green and I definitely don't like grey when it comes to underwear. However, I can relate to your reluctance to wear your red thong. I have several Gregg Homme g-strings unopened in their original packaging, and also some Kiniki clip sided thongs that haven't been opened. I think the reason I haven't opened the Gregg Homme strings is because I have 3 or 4 of them which I have worn for a number of years, and they are among my favourites, but I think they have been discontinued, so I'm unlikely to find any more, which is why I'm reluctant to start wearing the new ones.David_NC wrote: Tue Sep 14, 2021 11:57 pm I had a random thought this morning, I have a red thong (Calvin Klein Y-back - part of a 3pack) that I have never worn. Maybe you're worried that the sight of your bod in that sexy red thong will drive your good lady so wild with lust that you'll find yourself a prisoner in the bedroom. Then again, it could be that you're concerned that when you wash it for the first time, the colour will run and ruin your other clothes. Perhaps you could keep it for a special date night?
