AUSSIE TOGS SWIMWEAR

Post by TANGA TANGA »

Hi guys! I just came across an Australian swimwear company called Aussie Togs who have some great g-strings etc, many of which are modelled on a beach. Unfortunately they seem to be on the pricey side when converted into UK and US currency and that probably doesn't include postage and possible custom taxes. Just wondering if any of our Aussie forum members can shed more light on them and perhaps review any items they have purchased from them? They seem to have a parent company for females which means that on their Instagram account you have the pleasure of seeing some pics of a very hot couple who happen to be partners in real life. The chemistry between them was obvious even before I discovered they were an item.

I've looked at them before. I think the woman behind the brand has 2 brands for women. Ron, who is part of the Married Str8 Trio conversation, has purchased from them. He found the bikini he bought to be comfortable. Not sure if he really has gotten to wear it much yet. Seems to be happy with the purchase. Don't think he has joined the forums to chime in on them then. Unfortunately, like many brands out there they are on the high side for me.

When I saw they were located in East Brisbane I wondered if there was any connection to Sunbabe Bikinis, also listed in the same suburb, which it turns out there is. I have not tried any of their items, being too expensive for my liking.

If local guys like your good self find their designs too expensive, then it's hardly surprising that guys overseas are going to baulk at the prices when you add on postage and customs taxes. Makes you wonder who and where their core market is?

I wonder how many of any internet company's customers are one-time buyers, for whatever reason. Those purchases must contribute substantial income to the company, although I do realise that these companies would be after regular purchases. But for the companies offering some of the more expensive designs, one-time buyers could be important business.

I should add that there is a shop mentioned on the website, so for the locals at least there is the chance to see and feel the items before purchase. That's one of the features we have often mentioned as an issue with internet purchasing.
