I’m in Canada where all my city public pools are thong friendly. I’ve been wearing thongs for swimming laps at the city public pools and the Y for many years. I’ve only seen one other man wearing a thong but there are many women and most of the young female competition swimmers wear one piece thong suits. I wear Awry, 2Eros and JAXFSTK thong swimsuits. I have about 12 suits and they all have drawstrings, a fuller cut flat front and wide wasteband. I would not wear anything racy like micro g-strings, see through, or torpedo style. I have become completely comfortable with my swimwear and also wear my thongs in the hot tub, steam room, sauna and aquacize classes. I’m a social person and I always engage in conversation with other swimmers and the lifeguards. No one has ever had a problem with my swimwear. On 3 occasions I received some nice compliments from women. I have totally normalized myself as a thong wearer at my pools but I constantly wish to see other men joining in. I’m sure that some other guys want to join but feel intimidated by barriers that I know to be inexistent. Check this link for a photo of me at a local lap pool.
Nice one. I am in Montreal, and the city pools here are thong friendly too. I have never seen another guy in a thong swimsuit, but there are women who swim in one piece cheeky swimsuits. Never had any issues at the city pools, and even other swimmers have been friendly.
