Ultimately, each person has to decide for themselves what they want to wear.
My father is the most religious person I know, right down to the clothing . Mom right next to him. One night a week we had we had lesson night. My parents grew up in the ‘50’s-60’s, so even though not normal, was easily accepted swimming attire.
Now for me. I was in the yard one summer day in my Speedo. For real Speedo solar swim brief. My parents dropped by unannounced, not uncommon, even for us kids. I was in the back yard working in the yard a little, then I would get in the pool for a while. They came in as I was about to get in the pool.
Instead I just put my shorts and shirt on and visited for a while. Father said don’t let us interrupt your swim. Oh Father, I’ll get back in when you leave unless it’s too late.
