Microbikiniman, thanks for the boost of confidence and suggestions! I gathered up some nerve this evening and headed back out to the local pool with a couple swim brief options. I first put on my white tanga brief but felt they were a bit too bulgy for a community pool, plus they aren’t lined in the front, so I didn’t quite feel comfortable wearing them. Last thing I need is the lifeguard to single me out and tell my swimwear is not appropriate. I went to the pool this evening and there was nothing of note being worn in water or the men’s change room. I wore a pair of neon yellow trunks and then got changed into a hot pink satin tanga afterwards in the change room. I always feel a bit bashful standing in the change room in sexy underwear, but I do like it. It feels edgy and daring. I’ve never got any stray comments or positive remarks but I feel like folks don’t always know what to say or even care. Perhaps it will inspire others to do the same. I always find it a bit of a rush to be wear something like that in a (relatively) public space, it makes me feel sexy.
As a side note, there was a woman at the pool in a thong bikini. I looked at her and wished I could do the same, I’d love to freely wear a thong in public but sadly our society isn’t there yet.If I get "excited" by "local scenery,"

You will finds all kinds of great suggestions here on the Forum. Live your life AND show your body (in a reasonable fashion) just like MANY others do in many places. Yes, you will find areas where that is not the prevailing thought (for any number of reasons). SO WHAT? It's fun to travel, so enjoy seeing new areas AND enjoy being with like-minded microwear enthusiasts!
I went with my other option, a patterned very cheeky drawstring brief, and enjoyed a bit of time in the hot tub and casually strolling ok the pool deck. It felt exhilarating.
The exhilaration continued in the change room afterwards as I got undressed and slipped into a pair of black satin and lace panties from XDress while in the presence of a few other (adult) patrons. I took my time getting dressed, and enjoying the moment before finally heading out. I have yet to strike up any sort of conversation with anyone or see anyone else dressed similarly. I know guys like us are out there and o hope to come across some one day. Perhaps I have to book a trip to the Outer Banks for some company. I look forward to being able to travel to places where I can dress and act freely.
