Wearing a swim thong in public…

I went for an early morning swim at a bathhouse earlier in the week. Wore a standard Calvin Klein swim brief but my black CK One string thong underneath. Once I got into the pool area and saw it was empty as I was first there, I decided to remove the swim brief and go thong only. I was a bit nervous at first once others began to arrive but as time went on, I got more and more confident and it felt amazing. There was a group of girls all in thong bikinis too which added to the experience. I don't think I would thong at a busier time but when it's quiet then it's fine. That said, I have a Brazilian back swim brief which often bunches up at the back when wet to resemble a thong so it comes across as unintentional It is great to be in a social and non-judgmental space and express a love for the thong.

Can I ask what this bathhouse is and how are you able to swim there? In Canada, bathhouses are where gay men meet up.

It's called Soak. There are a few on the eastern seaboard of Australia.

I’m enjoying a day a the beach today. The weather is glorious, clear blue sky, warm temperatures and a light breeze. I’m in the water cooling off with my float when a man comings running in and yells cannon ball while laughing. I tell him go ahead but I want a double cannonball from him and his wife. They start laughing and we make a couple other jokes. That turns into a friendly conversation. They are both elementary school teachers and have the day off. We talk about their jobs and the current climate in schools. All the while I’m buns up wearing a thong on my float. Not a word is said about what I am wearing. That’s exactly how it should be. We are just enjoying the day at the beach. They ask if I come there often. I say yes. They tell me they will be not again once school lets out and hope to see me. All it took was being playful, smiling and being friendly.

I looked up the the Australian bathhouses , one called SOAK, and they look great. I would absolutely wear thongs in those places. We have nothing like that in Canada but I wish we did.
