Cut4Men Micro thong

Post by Aberman »

I recently had a clear out of all my small gear . But wanted some new styles , perhaps concentrating on quality rather than quantity . I am very happy with the Cut4Men micro thong . I bought it in small because I believe if I want something brief it’s better to go small first . Waist size it is fine . The pouch front is exceptionally narrow and at first I thought it was not going to hold me in . A little technique I learned was to fit yourself in very low down so that everything is in place and then pull up the thong quite high at the front . It is so narrow but very cool looking in the pale blue I bought . The nearest thong I’ve had to this was a Joe Snyder Rio but this is even briefer . Anyway it is going to get its first trial at Ross Sands in Northumberland this week .

You looked great in them last summer when we met up at Ross Sands. It would be great to do it again, when it’s warmer, please PM me.

I bought two thongs and a bikini fromCut4Men after a review Nate did a while ago, I love them, I think they are underwear, but I definitely wear them on the beach, my pink thong is very low cut but my black thong has a very narrow pouch, as you say, I didn’t think it would hold everything, but it does, looks great on. Definitely worth investigating more of this manufacturer

I do have boxers, low rise brief, cheeky brief, enhancing thong, Brazilian thong as well as micro thong from Cut4men and I'm happy with all of them.
Quality is very high, material comfy and colours/patters remain the same after years of use.

I'm thinking to expand collection with capri, kini or mini kini variant this year

Anybody have any of them ?

kini: https://cut4men.com/en/stringthong/259- ... -turquoise
Mini kini: https://cut4men.com/en/glow/336-4210-sp ... or-scarlet

I have the capri and kini styles. I am a definite fan of cut4men. Those are great in between bikini and thong styles. The sizing is really good. I wear them a lot for daily wear . Usually though they both end up being thongs at the end of the day. Great fabrics and colors they have too. I don't have the mini kini yet , but certainly will have to get some to try.

Cut4Men Micro Thong vs. Micro Thong Bulge

I’ve been diving into the Spandex range from Cut4Men lately. It’s refreshing to have vibrant options in high-quality fabrics and they definitely reminded me of the Joe Snyder ranges.

For reference on fit: I have a 36-inch waist. While I’m usually a Large, I tend to order up to an XL in thongs, particularly micro styles, to ensure the pouch has enough room. Here is how these two stack up against each other in my opinion.

1. The Cut and Pouch Geometry
The defining feature of both styles is the "micro" cut. The pear shape where the pouch meets the waistband is very narrow.

Note on Grooming: Because of that narrow "pear" shape at the top, these aren't "get up and go" pairs. You definitely need to keep up with your grooming routine to pull these off cleanly.

The Micro Thong: This one is exceptionally narrow. It takes a bit of manual adjusting to get everything contained initially. Because the pouch is flatter, I found that things felt a bit "stacked" (testes sitting one above the other) to stay within the front. However, once you’re settled, the snugness is actually very comfortable.

The Micro Thong Bulge: As the name implies, the pouch is much more anatomical and shapely. This felt like a more natural fit for me, providing plenty of support while containing everything without the "stacking" effect.

2. Profile and Aesthetic
Micro Thong: I found this sits slightly lower on the waist. It’s a very lean, minimal look.

Micro Thong Bulge: Sits a bit higher on the hips, which contributed to a greater feeling of security and support. Be aware, though: this style is designed to push you forward. It provides a significant "enhancing" look, so you have to be confident with that extra projection.

3. The Rear and Straps
Unsurprisingly, the back of these two styles is nearly identical. Cut4Men uses a slightly wider thong strap than you get from other manufacturers. It’s made of very soft, stretchy material, making it one of the more comfortable "tail" designs I've worn—no digging in or chafing throughout the day. The sides are nice and narrow which I really prefer on my thongs.

4. Sizing Recommendations
This is where the two really differ for me:

Micro Thong: Definitely size up. The XL was necessary here to compensate for the very narrow design and flatter front.

Micro Thong Bulge: You could likely stick to your regular size. Because the pouch is deeper and more accommodating, the extra room is already built into the design.

For me, the Micro Thong Bulge is my favourite of the Cut4Men micro styles.
