I will be in Rome next week for three days and wonder if there are any shops that I can stop by. Sadly my hotel doesn’t have pool to hang out in a bikini brief.

Unfortunately I can't help you, just stayed Rome 3 times for few days each and many things to do.
You have sure many things to visit and no need for advices. Dont forget the most famous keyhole of the world, the headquarters of knights of Malta.
