Hello from the mountains of NC! A little bit about me here… I’m an almost 45-year-old who has been wearing thongs exclusively as underwear since the late 90’s.

My fascination started much earlier than that though, I was probably 11 or 12 around 92 or 93, and snooping through the drawers in my parents room one of the first times I was left home alone, and I found a thong in my mom’s underwear drawer. I immediately put it on, and felt that certain something. After I put everything back and tried to hide my snooping, I went to the kitchen and grabbed a pair of scissors and found a pair of my tighty whities and cut the cheeks out of them. I would put them on at night in my room, but never wore them out and about.

When I was 16 or so, I stole a woman’s thong from Kmart to start wearing under my boxers to school, and hand washing it in the shower. Eventually I just started buying them once I got over the embarrassment. I still only wore them under boxers in high school, but when I went to college, they are all that I would wear. I remember how happy I was when I found ABCunderwear (I think) in the early 2000s and found thongs designed exclusively for those of us with a package up front.

The girl I dated my freshman into my sophomore year had one thong that I could convince her to wear periodically, and was uncomfortable with me wearing them, but it made me feel sexy so I kept wearing them.

All the women I dated up until I married my first wife didn’t care one way or the other.

My ex-wife went from one pieces with skirts to thong bikinis while we were together thanks to my encouragement, and we would often go to state parks on the Gulf Coast of Florida where we could be alone, and I would wear thongs with her.

It wasn’t until we were divorced about 10 years ago, and I started dating a woman that encouraged me to start wearing them in public. We both would, except for when we were places it was frowned upon. She had a 10-year-old daughter, who would roll her eyes at both of us, but never said anything.

Now I’m married again, and while my wife doesn’t wear thongs in public, all of her underwear are thongs, and she encourages me to wear them whenever I feel they are appropriate at the pool/lake/beach!
