Instead of trying to get your friends to show up for an underwear party, look for a kink group in your area. I belong to one on Facebook, but they don't interact on the open forum. However, they do chat via messenger, and no doubt have gatherings to fit their specific kinks. Even if you don't think of underwear as a kink, you will get to know an eclectic group of people.

Most of us want some sort of validation, so all you need to do is be cool about what they like, and they will return the favor.
