First time buying a thong

We have discussions about our first exepriences wearing thongs underwear and beach.
What about your feelings the first times you bought a thong, did you personally do it? With someone? Anyone else bought for you? How did you approach with sales person...?

I bought mine by accident! I was at Target, I think (this was in the late 90s) and was buying a box of UX -brand string bikinis, and I grabbed another box thinking they were the same...I didn't check, and when I got home, I saw that I had gotten a box of thongs too. Standard array of colors and patterns back then -- gray, blue, black, and like these blue leopard-print style. So I started wearing them and was like...oh, okay. No worries. They've been in the rotation ever since! (Well, not those exact UX thongs...that was a long time ago...but the STYLE has been in the rotation ever since!)

My first thong purchase was accidental. I thought I was buying a 3 pack of Brüt bikinis, but they turned out to be thongs. I didn't like them either, it felt like having a piano wire between my cheeks!

I bought my 1st thongs when I was out of town visiting some friends. On my way home, I stopped at a department store to buy the thongs because I knew that nobody at that store would know me. I've come a long way since then. Thongs have been my normal, everyday underwear for 25+ years. While I don't show them on purpose, I know that my friends and family have seen them over the top of my pants and shorts.

I bought my first thong not by accident but with purpose. I have been wearing the smallest bikini underwear I could find for a couple years by then. I had seen thongs in the local department store and knew I wanted to try them. I walked and found a three pack of basic thongs and then had to find the courage to walk up to the counter and purchase them. There was a young woman working the register. I probably turned three shades of red. She made some comments about my purchase as being sexy. I immediately went home and tried them on. As soon as I slid the first thong on I knew I would be getting more.

After some online purchases I bought my first thong at erotic shop , was a bathing suit.
The sales lady in her 50 or more and I was nervous. Asked a bathing suit and to make short story she told me some as " you want a thong bathing suit?" . I spoke long without say the "thong" word.
She told me to calm because that was the right place for what people want to ask but not have courage.
I had to order it and wait some days, I texted her some messages during waiting week.

The first time i remember as a adult buying my own thong in a store was Macy's and it was a mans silk thong, and the lady at the counter took it out of the package saying it was so light she had to make sure there was something inside the box. BTW it was purple and didn't fit it well.

I saw Intimo thongs in Macy's. I wasn't brave enough to take a closer look or buy them, but I found them online and ordered some. Back then, all packages went to the leasing office, and I was so nervous when I went to pick it up, because I wasn't sure how the packaging would look like or if someone else would steal it. Anyways, nothing happened, and I ended up loving them although it was a little too small, so I ordered more and more and more and MORE. I still get a little adrenaline about the deliveries hah.

I must've tried them out at some earlier point in my long life, but I don't recall. Been a bikini guy since college, and still am.

Bought a 3-pack in recent years. Inexpensive ones from Amazon. I do enjoy the enhanced bulge thongs tend to give, but just not comfortable with the rear strap.

Helps that the Mrs would disapprove. She prefers me in boxer briefs.

Always was a bikini wearer loved those skimpy Bonds fluorescent bikinis! I recall seeing a black ESL silk thong in a store here in Aus called Myer. I looked at those probably for years longing to try them then I had a car and my own money and made the purchase.
