Underwear Sports

Did you play any sports in high school or college? If so, what underwear did you wear and what did most of your teammates wear?

I played golf in high school and wore white FTL Ribbed Whites or Hanes Briefs! Most of my golf team wore bikinis or low rise briefs such as Brittania, Lee Wright, or Honors!

I swam in college and high school...we all wore speedo's and well most guys wore bikinis before they got into them.

I didn't play organized sports, but my roommate during my freshman year of college was a defensive back on the football team and he wore bikinis and string bikinis. One of my high school buddies was also all bikinis, and he was a football player as well. My college roommate was African-American, and the high school guy was white. This would have been the first half of the 90s.

I might have mentioned this elsewhere, I can't remember, but my dorm room was on the ground floor during my freshman year so during the invariably twice-weekly 2 am fire drill pranks, my roommate and I just jumped out of the windows. We both would be in our underwear, and I'd often be in a T-shirt as well. We'd stand around outside along with a bunch of other students in a mix of things ranging from others in bikinis, tighty-whities, boxers, sweats, PJs, etc. I soon learned that many of the pranks were actually executed by some of the girls in the dorm next door and they would watch from their windows.

I do remember one particular time when a couple of the firemen who got called (since they had to respond to these alarms, no matter how many times they got false-alarmed) my roommate and I were both wearing cut-off T-shirts and string bikinis -- I think I was wearing black and he was wearing bright red (and he was quite dark-skinned and I was lanky with a mullet and thick head of hair!) gave us LONG looks as they marched past to inspect the building.

I played football, basketball, and baseball in high school. It was all briefs and bikinis in the early 90’s there.

Played sports my whole life- mostly baseball from 5 yrs old to D1 in college. Also, played football and basketball. Mostly wore jockstraps since bikinis weren't very popular amongst my teammates. I do remember playing a pickup game of basketball once out of college and while I was catching my breath bent over with my hands on my knees and you could see the outline of my Joe Boxer thong
