Checking About Tariffs
Checking About Tariffs
Hey, y'all:
This American hasn't ordered anything from outside the US since the whole tariff thing.
Are our tiny shipments hitting us with tariff/duty on delivery? Haven't seen any mention here. Thx.

Re: Checking About Tariffs
I was going to order some thongs from Tangaland in Getmany but shipping was going to cost me $60, so I didn't place the order.
I don't know if tariffs were part of the shipping charge or not.
Re: Checking About Tariffs
I ordered some new undies from Teamm8 (Australia) but they actually shipped from a California distribution center so I didn’t have to pay any tariffs.
Re: Checking About Tariffs
A lot of warehouses in USA were filled up to beat the tariffs, holding down prices this holiday season. Lots of empty warehouses available now, as they won't be refilled as long as high tariffs remain. We will see what TACO does next. I check to see where an item will be shipped from or where it has to be returned to. If it is outside the USA, I look elsewhere.
Re: Checking About Tariffs
I did get one notification that anabella/fagioni that they weren't shipping to the US due the tariffs. Kind of bummed but understand.
Re: Checking About Tariffs
I purchased my wife a g-string from (https://tweakmeonline.com - they are great BTW), and they did not charge us any tariffs. It shipped from Australia, and it arrived via USPS. Next time, we will buy in bulk (they are that worth it). Shipping was like $10.
I at least know when shipping overseas using UPS/FedEx, these carriers are notorious for additional customs fees, et al., that the recipient must pay (in additional to tax, etc.).

I'm guessing TACO doesn't pay tariffs on his adult diapers.Bikenswim wrote: Sun Dec 28, 2025 5:56 pm A lot of warehouses in USA were filled up to beat the tariffs, holding down prices this holiday season. Re: Checking About Tariffs
I'm not sure about tariffs, but I noticed the places I've been shopping at for years have much higher prices. For example, in December 2024 I was able to purchase a bunch of sale items from Mensuas for $3-5. And this year, the sale price is $9-12 for the same exact items

Visited Cut4Men for the first time in quite a while. Went to "Shipping Policy," which says: "Good news! Your CUT4MEN products can now reach the U.S. with all taxes and duties included — no surprises at delivery."
FYI. They're in France.

Though I should also mention that their shipping charge is $24.90, USD..... unless you spend $200+Vectron wrote: Mon Dec 29, 2025 10:39 pm Visited Cut4Men for the first time in quite a while.
