At least you had the blanket! The situations in my youth (though no tornado scares, thankfully!) on occasion, I didn't have the additional coverage. I remember those Hanes string bikinis and wore them quite often, in college and grad school etc.WestTennesseeGuy wrote: Sun Nov 30, 2025 3:01 pm We had a tornado scare one night in the middle of the night. I remember my dad yelling at me to get to the basement so I come to, in just my Hanes string bikini briefs. This was in 1996 and I was a junior in high school so they were the old school ones with the black waistband. I ran downstairs and behold, my grandparents, as well my aunt and uncle and their kids were already down there. I was down there for almost an hour and a half with just a blanket wrapped around me. The joy of having family living close by.

Hi all interesting comments. I once had a lady friend who loaned me lovely panties to wear.

Sort of. When I lived at home my sister mom and I all helped with laundry duty so everyone knew it was white briefs for me. . Maybe that's why my sister and her boyfriend got me the bikini briefs. Who knows. When I came home from college my sister was out of the house but mom still did laundry so she knew it was FTL ribbed colors with jockey low rise colors. She never said anything. I had 2 instances at work. One was "hey big boy what kind of underwear do you have on under those pants of yours". Can't remember what I was wearing but I was truthful in my answer. Another time I got the boxers or briefs question and said think cotton briefs and even pulled them up to show the fabric. Nothing other than that
