Question for the Jockey Poco guys

Post by Lonestar »

I was always loyal to Jockey Elance, but sometimes Poco got more interesting designs, especially the center seam with the Chevroning stripes.
I’ve also been curious about what type of guy buys these. Poco briefs are sexier to me than regular briefs, but cover almost the same amount. For the guys that wore Poco what stopped you from getting the actual bikini?

I got self conscious a few years ago about my liking of bikini underwear. I went for a while trying to get away from them thinking they were not masculine. A few things I like a bikini to have is a pouch that holds the goods up and out, double lined and center seam in front, a narrow side, full rear, a “cotton like” synthetic fabric like modal, and a rolled waistband.

Like you, I liked the colors and patterns Jockey offered with the Poco option. I purchased a package of 2. I wore and washed them a few times and tried to like them. For me, Poco was an odd fitting full brief that had some of the attributes I now look for in a bikini acquisition but just didn’t work for me. I moved on from them quickly.

I got my full confidence on and went back to regular bikini briefs.

I used to be afraid of doctor visits wearing a bikini, feared an unexpected trip to the emergency room in a bikini, feared changing in the locker room wearing bikini underwear.

I now own it and proudly wear bikini briefs 100% and wear them anywhere on any occasion.

I agree they have an odd fit and are very full cut. Especially the newer ones. But occasionally, I see a photo with a model or another man wearing one and I think they look good on some people.
I also used to get nervous about the doctor, etc. I still do a bit with thongs and would typically wear a bikini in the situation.
The silhouette of regular cut briefs has changed so much since the 80s, I’m not sure most younger people would really distinguish that much between a bikini and an actual brief.

The models normally make whatever they are wearing look good.
